Highly Recommend. Campgrounds were quiet, beautiful and so well-maintained. Bathrooms/showers were really clean, as was the pool. Two beautiful trails on the grounds. We stayed in site 48, brook behind us, privacy, wooded and leveled. All staff were friendly, kind and helpful. Its located close to the mountains and the lakes. Hidden gem.
First of all, our RV site was spectacular, lots of shade trees and right on the creek. We were in space 36A - just delightful. Also their showers were wonderful. Good water pressure, even warm temperature and clean and spotless.Service: 5/5
This place was recommended by a friend and we are so grateful because it is the best! We camped along the beautiful brook that so beautifully winds its way through the grounds. the sites are well maintained and the people working the store are so pleasant.Service: 5/5
Beautiful, clean campground. We were there Memorial Day weekend 2023. The owners and other campers couldn't have been any nicer or more helpful. Lots of seasonal campers with beautiful setups. The grounds are extremely well cared for. Right in the heart of the Lakes Region and near the beautiful town of Meredith. The owners gave us lots of helpful information about RV'ing and they were totally helpful when we had to back out of our site. Would love to return!
This was our 2nd time going to Ames Brook and we enjoyed ourselves yet again. This campground has some of the nicest seasonal campground people we have encountered. We will definitely make this campground a regular visit each season. Our kids enjoyed themselves and the grounds are very well maintained and super clean.
This campground was a great choice for our recent stay!!!! We were a total of 72' long with our set up and we had zero issues getting to our spot or setting up! The staff is amazing Diane and Dan made us feel like we were family and at home! The facility is clean and beautiful!! We highly recommend this campground and will always stay here in the future!!!
Our site backed up to a babbling Brook! Wonderful! The store is just right with great staff. The bathrooms and laundry are spotless! Prices were good. We will return. Lots of nearby easy hikes. And lots of more challenging hikes too! And Ashland is the home of the Common Man Restaurants. Right up the road toward Plymouth is the Farmhouse. Great Italian food! And check out Annie’s Overflow for breakfast in Plymouth. Plus, there are shows at the Flying Monkey, another Common Man offering!
my girlfriend and i had a fantastic time! after we were rejected from a different campground nearby, Ames Brook was able to accommodate to a short-notice reservation and we had an amazing time by the brook! the owners were extremely nice and offered us a discount on our next stay because we were rained out, and were very communicative and helpful. the bathrooms were also very clean! i will 100% be staying here again in the future.
Great location in the lakes region of NH. I do not reccomend staying here if the weather is hot high 89s or 90s as the electric service is very poor. We could run our air conditioning during our stay as the low voltage 104 kept tripping my Progressive EMS with nothing else turned. The unheated pool was very refreshing on the hottest days of our stay.
We rented the Rustic Cabin for about a week and it was great! What a wonderful, well maintained campground. The store had camping/rv staples and local goods. We showed up a day early by mistake and the owners took it upon themselves to find us a place to lay our heads that evening. We really look forward to returning in the future!Rooms: 5/5
