I loved it here. It was life changing. I brought my grandchildren and they beg everything they see me to go back. They got Frisbee Golf too!
Touring around, looking for a Basketball hoop to shoot around for a bit. Came across Amesbury Park and loved it Well kept, clean, bathrooms, and more!! Noticed the Disc Golf course, and I might have just found my new hobby thanks to this park!! Playground: Nice for the kiddos Restrooms: Good
I think it could have better play items for all ages. It would be cool if a town pool would be added..,since not everyone has a pool and in the summertime it would definitely get its use. Maybe an indoor type pool for year around. I feel what Collin park has is what’s lacking here. I think they could do better if they distributed the funds appropriately to better serve the town and it’s children.
Best park ever. Great play equipment. Splashpad, picnic areas, bandstand, ponds, skate park, baseball fields and basketball courts. Lots of room to roam. Pet friendly.
Love this park. Went there to a small outdoor wedding. Such a nice and relaxing place for any kinds of outdoor activities. They have a state of the art play scape that I know my kids will love. We will be back soon! My favorite part was the wooden bridge, perfect for photo shoots
Great little course! Mostly wooded, but wide fairways in the woods. This course also has some truly open holes and even a few water hazards, so a bit of everything. One of the best things about this course is also the worst: how close the hole layouts overlap. It's possible to play a few holes, then find that you're throwing near another party playing through a hole a few holes before. They've so far dealt with this by putting up signs warning people of the danger. On the plus side, since all the holes are so close together, it's possible to get in and out of the 18 hole course in 45 minutes, which means you could easily get a couple of rounds in in less than two hours. Also, a very popular course, lots of folks playing through! Bring the kids to go on the nice playground after your round.
Amesbury town park is one of the most beautiful parks I have explored. It has a very large playground, a nice sized wooded area, basketball courts and a skate park just to name a few of its amenities. It is a beautiful place to sit and relax for a family picnic and does have picnic tables, some of which are under a sheltered area. There is a beautiful pond and and tiny waterfalls running under a small bridge which adds to its beauty. The only downside to this park would be its limited parking and its location which is slightly harder to find if navigation can be challenging for you. Navigating in the town of Amesbury can be difficult when trying to find your way around down and around several one way streets and small traffic circles.
I basically grew up in Amesbury. Lived here since the 90s. Due to the the local leadership allowing developers to run wild in Amesbury, the people who were born here or grew up, they can no longer afford to live here. Nice place to visit, but living here is jus way too expensive. Property taxes and rent fees are about the same as living in Boston. This used to be a middle class town with working class people, but those day are over. It's now influencers and "local breweries" everywhere
We went here while visiting Amesbury for the day, and my son absolutely loved it! They have everything. I wish there was a kids park like this one in my town. If we're ever in town again, we will be sure to visit!
Pretty cool park. Lots of things for different age groups. And a cool splash pond area. Good covered space for picnic.
