I was in need of laser hair removal locally and made a consult with Amherst Laser & Skin Care to learn more about their services. Upon arriving I met with Julie and had a great time chatting with her and setting myself up to do my remaining treatments with her. Once I realized they also offered Botox and Lip Fillers I asked about an appointment and was lucky enough to snag a cancellation the next day. It's too early to see my botox results but I'm THRILLED with my lips! Not only did she and Christine do a wonderful job with the shape, but it also barely hurt! My last injector was painful and left my lips kind of beat up, so this was a welcomed change! It's really a lot of fun being there and I can't wait to go back for my laser and other things in the future! Also, I happen to be transgender and found the whole staff warm and kind. Highly recommend as a place to feel safe and heard if you're trans and looking for what they offer.
I love their new location. It has been years since my last visit. I have a condition that causes redness on my cheeks and the lasers help with it. I had never seen Dr Weiztan before. He is straight forward, funny and lays out all the options and the charges right up front. After the options and risks were discussed the treatment was done followed by a cool cloth and a good brand of sunscreen. It was a good day and I was pleased with my experience. PS If you go in during your bday month you can get 20% off any individual treatment.
Dr Weitzman always makes me feel comfortable and at ease during treatments. He is informative and detail oriented during the the process
Over the past couple of years I have been a repeat client of Julie’s for botox. I drive 45 minutes from my house to the office and have never missed or been late to any of my appointments. My last appointment I confused the time. I thought it was 3:30 and it was actually 3:15. When I arrived at 3:30 they informed me of my mistake and said Julie needed to leave and couldn’t see me. When I called to reschedule they informed me that I owed a $75 no show fee. I informed her that I did show up but she wouldn’t see me. They didn’t care. I have never been treated in such a dismissive manner. I will never do business with this establishment again.Service: Cosmetic dermatology
Amherst Laser is the best! Dr. Weitzman is wonderful and really takes time and care with his patients. He makes suggested based on what’s best, not what costs the most. I love going there for filler, Botox and other services. Highly recommend!Service: Cellulite reduction
They're good at what they do and very considerate. They don't make you jump through hoops fir the medical discount, which I really appreciate.
I recently started going to Amherst Laser & Skin Care Center after a terrible experience at Pioneer Valley Dermatology PVD. Julie at Amherst Laser & Skin Care Center is such a caring and kind practitioner. Julie consulted with me after I had a laser treatment at PVD that left me with burns, swelling, and significant discomfort. Julie immediately made me feel comfortable and assured me that she would take great care of me moving forward. I have had a much better experience at Amherst Laser & Skin Care Center. From the moment you walk into the office until the time you walk out, you are greeted by the warmest and most attentive staff. I have truly never had such a positive experience at a medical office. I will continue going to Amherst Laser & Skin Care Center and have already recommended them to several of my friends. Please do not leave your skin care needs to anyone else - this practice is the absolute best!
