This page is intended to provide Amherst residents with useful and informative updates regarding public safety developments as they occur within town. Unlike the town’s CodeRED information system –which is activated only in the event of a major natural disaster or event - this page is designed to provide relevant information which is important to the community but does not rise to the level of a CodeRED activation.
