Hello, I Have been in this shop couple times. At beginning i thought that everyone can have there bad days. But i need to say enough is enough, Im not gonna go back to this shop ever again. Shop owner or shop assistant, female, is always on her phone if you ask her questions about products she are answering you in very rude manner. I read another's reviews and someone said that staff will go to customer service courses, but what I saw this week I need to say those courses hasn't help at all. I also had conversation with my colleagues and couple of them told me that they are not going to this shop for the same reason... customer service in this shop is terrible and its really shame because there products is decent. I really hope that once and for all this shop staff member would change her attitude and be more clients oriented. I think you guys has lost enough clients because of poor customer service.

Very friendly staff, the shop is a number one shop for all Africans good stuff, good prices and services. You can never go wrong with BUKMAT food stuff. I will always recommend them anytime any day.
Bukmat is the best Africa/Caribbean store in Birmingham, they go extra miles to render good services to all their customers, attractive, clean and well displayed of goods, their customer service is superb, oh oh oh their fresh ugu, ewedu, sweet agbalumo and others fresh products are one in town, go for it and you won’t regret. I recommend bukmat for all your Africa food.
I usually do my shopping there almost every other weekend. Great customer service and tidy environment. Items are brilliantly shelved and sold at affordable prices. Would greatly recommend to friends and family.
I have been once and won't be coming back. Very unfriendly and cold staff. I had to wait over the counter a while because this lady was sitting and fiddling with some receipts. She was clearly ignoring me. No apologies etc. Poor,poor behaviour.
I’ve been a few times but won’t be going back. The staff are always very cold and unwelcoming and one of the ladies is downright rude. Won’t advise anyone to shop there. It’s as though they don’t want you in their shop. ‍
