This is truly one of the most beautiful wedding venues imaginable. My wedding was spectacular and the guests were in awe of how beautiful the view is at the Hilltop House. I most definitely recommend the Anderson Lodge for any couple looking for a forest wedding! The owners and staff are very friendly and the preferred caterer Cindy Blixt is excellent. The only negative is that you likely will not get your full deposit back because the checklist for leaving is really stringent.
stayed in middle cabin for our gathering in december. it is a very beautiful property. however the cabins have no real beds and sleeping in the loft as a full size adult was quite a mistake! the shower took at least 9-10 hours to heat up in that cabin if it was a gas water heater thats kind of scary! very rustic vibe. awesome view. but paying for the venue AND paying per person is alot of money for what we got.
Do not get married here what a disappointment of 5500$. None of the yard work was done hanging baskets were dead, the buildings and rooms are super outdated and gross. On top of all that they only sent use 200 of our 500 dollar deposit because a couple table clothes werent put back on. The owner is very rudeRooms: 1/5
Great wedding venue for large families. Bunkhouses,Bunkhouse, and tent and rv camping. Rustic. Near Mt Hood and Mt St Helens.Rooms: 4/5
Came here for a wedding. Very besutiful, tons of room where we didn't feel on top of each other.. Even had basics where we didn't feel cut off from the world. Would highly recommend coming here for family gatherings, weddings or just with a group of friends that enjoys the great northwest outdoors. 'Green Shirt Girl'
Our wedding day was perfect. It was so nice to have everything at the venue, and be able to be there the day before and the morning after. The weather and grounds were beautiful. Richard was friendly, and was working hard to make everything beautiful even as we showed up the day before. We could not be more happy with our experience with everyone at Anderson Lodge. We had so much fun, and several times our friends and family commented on how wonderful the venue was. We will highly recommend you guys to anyone we know that is getting married.
What a beautiful property! I coordinated a wedding at the lower lodge and fell in love with the venue. The large ranch house and cabins full of beds allows for many guests to stay all weekend. The house has a large kitchen as well as a catering kitchen. In addition, there are two large indoor rooms, a large stone garden patio, a lower stone garden patio and a fire pit area. For recreation, there are tennis courts and a sauna, and is near the river for more fun! We used the stone garden for the ceremony and the lower patio for dinner. Then we moved the party back to the larger patio for dancing the night away! I highly recommend using their in house caterer. Five Star Catering will do an excellent job for your event and it will save you from additional fees. Trees? They have them! Stars? Shine brighter here. Planning a wedding? Hire a professional and enjoy your day at the Anderson Lodge!
You should definitely have your wedding here if reviewing site:
The location is lovely and the onsite staff was very helpful. The facilities are rustic but fit everyone comfortably, we loved all the different gathering spaces. We were a bit frustrated by some of our interactions with the office: there was a surprise policy change, confusion about logistical information we had provided multiple times, and a generally unfriendly tone in the communications. The pricing structure seemed needlessly complicated with additional fees for kitchen use, cleaning, and outside catering though we found the overall price to be reasonable. Lastly, we were a bit disappointed with their preferred caterer. With some customer service improvements and better catering options, this would be a 5 star venue.
Nice layout, lots of room for guests with lodge and all the cabins. We had some clogged drains and water leak issues but the caretaker fixed them. It's a beautiful, well layed out venue in a natural setting with Ample parking. Family friendly for all ages.
