You will love your stay!! Excellent hotel and experience!! I stay in A LOT of hotels for work. This hotel is awesome. The valet service is so on point. Brett was so kind and professional it literally made my day. The rooms are spacious with plenty of towels and amenities and very clean. None of the hot in the middle of the night because the hotel governs the thermostat at night here. Location is excellent. Pool area is clean and lovely with direct access to the clean beach. There were no loud noises or activities I could hear from my room so I slept great. Oh, and the bed is VERY comfortable. If I had to say anything could be better, I guess they could do better on their coffee. I didn’t get to try out the spa or workout facilities. I plan on coming back with the family for vacation very soon.
This hotel needs some facility upgrades. The pool area is dated and the water looks a bit sketchy. The bar is limited to a small drink menu and chips to snack on. There is no restaurant on site. There is a very small and limited coffee stand near the front desk that is open for primary morning/ early afternoon. Valet parking is $15 per day and self park is complimentary, but you have to walk a block to the facility. Not a bad choice if your options are limited. I'm not sure how we ended up booking here... our room view was partial - obstructed and we asked for ocean front. The room was decent, we had a studio with almost everything we needed. Washer/ dryer, kitchen, etc. Missing silverware and a few other items, but it worked out. The weather was great and it's an easy transition to the beach . We didn't have room service only for stays over 5 days? - you can walk to the entertainment zone 20min.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. The check in took like 30 minutes because there's always one person at the front desk. You will get lucky if there's two. Always a line to the front desk. As soon as you pull up the car to the resort you immediately get flagged down to move the car. Like seriously?? Let us get out FIRST. The rooms are extremely outdated nothing like In the pictures. Everything is OLD and dirty. If you forget your key card don't expect to get another one if you forget your ID in the room. They don't care about your issues at all. There's a weird guy by the pool who apparently works there. He sits around all day you'd never think he's an employee since he's dressed in casual clothes. No work attire at all. Very very unprofessional employees. Anderson thinks it can charge up to 200 a night for a super outdated resort. We definitely won't be returning.
I recently stayed at the Anderson hotel and it was a great experience overall. The hotel is located in a beautiful location with a pretty beach and plenty of activities to do. Once I arrived, the customer service was exceptional and really made me feel welcome. The rooms were nice, although some upgrades would be beneficial. I didn't stay on the Hilton side, so I can't comment on that. One thing I appreciated was the ability to rent movies, although I do wish they had digital options instead of a VCR. The beach wasn't overly crowded, which made for a relaxing experience. Overall, I would recommend the Anderson hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in a great location.
We had the 3 bdrm with 2 king beds/2 queen bdrm, with 3 full bathrooms. But apparently housekeeping was a hurry. Hair pin and ear swab was left behind on the bathroom floor. Kitchen area had leftover crumbs on the floor from the last guests. The living room furniture showed it either needed cleaning or replaced, it was badly stained. A/C vent shows mold. It didn't appear that there was a leak anymore. Valet parking is a must if you do not want to walk atleast a half of block from the hotel. Overall the room provided what we needed during our stay. The A/C worked well. The balcony is long with great views of the beach . We like this place, and will return again. Hopefully they will clean the furniture or replace it. Hilton please step up on your cleaning. Thanks Walkability: To the beach.
Great place for a getaway vacation. The resort is located right on the beach and it's not too far from shops and activities. The rooms were clean and have just about everything you will need. There were some little quirks but we tried not to focus on them. The staff was nice and if you needed anything for your room, they were pretty quick to respond. Great views of the ocean which is where we spent most of our time, and there's plenty of food in the surrounding area. Nearby activities: The miniature golf course across the street is outdated but free for HGVC members, however there are over 75 miniature golf courses in the area. The B Boardwalk at the Beach is about a mile away and is worth a visit. Topgolf and the Skywheel are also nearby.
First time staying here. Room was amazing and the ocean view was incredible..very clean and right on ocean. All workers were very nice and accommodating. I will be staying here again and parking was free. Highly recommend. The bar petty much outside was awesome and great frozen drinks. Recommend the cinnamon crunch shot u see in photo. Also dirty monkey frozen drink awesome Rooms: Amazing cleans awesome great views Food & drinks: Drinks especially frozen were great
We got a two bedroom condo. So filthy. Dust everywhere. Outdated furniture and broken phones and bathroom things. Found a moldy paper towel roll under kitchen sink. Black mold. And under the sink water spots and mold. Floors were sticky and dirty not vacuumed not mopped. When we asked at front desk to get housekeeping they said they will send. Literally did not get any cleaning. The kitchen items are lacking and disgusting drawers and dusty light fixtures so that it’s falling into your food while cooking. Our kids had black hands and feet from how dirty it was. I kid you not that I never leave reviews but this was just another level of disappointment and disgusting dirty. Oh also the smell in the condo. As well the duvet has a sheet on the top and bottom of the duvet to serve as a cover. When they came apart there was a nasty blood spot on the duvet. Pissed would be an understatement. Save your money and don’t stay at a Hilton. Also seeing staff kick around towels and putting them on the hallway floor is just another level. Never staying at a Hilton. Another thing I should mention is the beds. Omg they creak sooo much. Like how can you not renovate anything at all.
The room was exactly as advertised, clean and had a nice view. The service was prompt and friendly and knowledgeable. The location is perfect for what we needed beach access, Broadway at the Beach proximity I only dock the one point bc the pool complex was a bit smaller than it seemed in pictures and as a result was much more crowded. This place has a lot of rooms, and thus can fit many people into it's premises, it's amazing for what it is but it is densely packed!
DO NOT! I MEAN DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! I had the PENTHOUSE. It needs alot of updating. The place needed a cleaning. The curtains looked as if they hadn't been washed in over 30 years. It was so dusty and underneath the beds had so much dust the bunnies had turned in to old hairs. They only gave me back $109.00 for as much as I paid for that nasty room. The tub had hair in it. It took getting two house keeping Managers to get my room so that we could breathe in there. It's truly sad because valet and front desk are amazing. The one Night Manager truly made it for me. She came in and cleaned our room. She said she couldn't do anything about the curtains. Just don't waste your money like I did. Stay somewhere else until it has been updated!! I even brought my on cleaning supplies!
