"Peruvian cuisine is an unfinished story thousands of years in its unfolding. In our food, drink, and hospitality, we hope to contribute a few lines to that story. Sourcing our ingredients both locally in Oregon and in direct trade with a community of organic farmers in Chincha, Peru, we celebrate a country incredibly rich in its cultural and natural history."

This place had an impeccable atmosphere and vibes, complete with live entertainment music. It was spotlessly clean, and the staff were not only attentive but also incredibly sweet. The food here was truly amazing. Each dish was delicious, filled with enticing aromas, and beautifully presented. The prices were reasonable and not too overwhelming. While I didn't try any drinks from the bar, they looked quite tempting. This spot is perfect for a romantic date night or just a lovely evening out. I highly recommend giving their beef heart skewers a try, although I do recall them being a bit larger. This time they were smaller and slightly saltier than usual, however they were still quite enjoyable. Definitely recommend!
We haven’t had Peruvian food since our last trip to Peru. This restaurant provides an authentic Peruvian food with modern sophisticated touches for great presentation. We loved the grilled Octopus, the Peruvian seafood rice, the pork belly is delicious, and wonderful and tender short ribs!!! The service was great; a little noisy but still good to carry conversation. A nice, pleasant experience for our dinner guests.
Fresh ingredients & flavors. The staff was very accommodating with my dietary needs & helpful with suggesting dishes to fit what we were in the mood for. There was music in the bar & each dining room was BEAUTIFUL. My cider was delicious & my husband's old fashioned was the best he said he's ever had.Food: 5/5
It is a nice big Peruvian restaurant in Pearl. It is so much larger inside. This was the first time to have Peruvian dishes for me. The ambiance and decor is very nice. Service was okay. Maybe I’m not big on Peruvian food. Drinks are good, portion of food is too big. Vegetarian options: Not much but there are some.
Lovely Peruvian restaurant, nice food and service. The pork belly is yummy, crispy outside and tender inside, highly recommended. The side salad flavor is sour and fresh add a refreshed layer to the main. If you are a not sour fan, you can skip that too, still delicious.Food: 5/5
Ten out of ten every day all day forever. Perfect service, and holy cow the food was out of this world. Cannot wait to come back! Pictured is the smashed potatoes the one with the yellow sauce… never had such good potatoes, the octopus one with the purple sauce, and my entree which was the one with calamari and clams arroz con mariscos. 10/10 for sure. Every bite was heaven.
My wife and I went here on a Saturday night for a dinner date while visiting from Seattle. The reservation was easy to get on Tock though many of the slots were not available - understandable given it was a Saturday night and I was booking only 3 days beforehand. We got our table in the patio area as requested after a 3 minute wait. The decor is fabulous and very earthy, with lots of flowers everywhere. The staff was friendly as polite, as expected in Portland. We decided to do an appetiser meal because we are vegetarian and there were tons of veggie options. We ordered the humita, the yuca frita, the coliflor, the hongos and the empanada. Every dish was unique and flavourful, but I liked the coliflor the best. To drink we ordered the chica morada which was quite unique as well. I’d definitely recommend coming here for a quiet dinner where you can focus on great conversations and greater food! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Dietary restrictions: Lots of vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and dairy free options.
This is Peruvian food at its finest - a nice mix of inventive and traditionally-prepared dishes in a classy-but-comfortable setting. The service was fast and really friendly. Their cocktails are also perfectly prepared.Food: 5/5
Definitely a great restaurant if you’re looking for a romantic and quiet evening. Staff are very friendly and the food is fresh, flavorful and one of a kind. I would reccomend the pan de yema, chicha and arroz con mariscos.Food: 5/5
An exceptionally authentic Peruvian restaurant in the heart of Portland. My dad grew up in Lima and always lamented that the US lacked real Peruvian restaurants a few have sprung up in NYC/NJ. Well, I guess we will also have to fly him out west to enjoy it here! Delicious food, service, and beautiful ambiance! Although they didn’t have chicha morada drink, the chef made a special dessert with chicha morada filling. Such a personal touch and we are grateful to the chef! Highly recommend!
