After 25 years in business, Stan Egaas, owner of The Berry Patch Restaurant and Oregon Wild Berries has become known as Northwest Oregon's aficionado on jams, jellies, syrups and pies. Now with the same quality and dedication, Chef Edwin Soups are in production next door in our new cannery. Stop into our Gift Shop to see our line of products. The food here was excellent. We had a taco salad, burger, French dip sub, and chicken basket - they were all wonderful. The berry mustard at the table was a neat and tasty idea. They use large cut crinkle fries, which are our absolute FAVORITE. Prices were amazing, especially when we saw the portion sizes. We also got a pie to take with us! Only reason they missed the 5 star mark is due to some needed maintenance on furniture/building and dirty bathrooms. Features: Had a sign for social distancing, but I did not observe anyone using any other COVID safety practices.
Full menu, but we just dropped in for pie and coffee. The pie selection was great. I've had a lot of cream pies, but I've never seen marionberry cream pie anywhere else. It was so good! Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and the price was reasonable. Ample parking, lots of seating. Everything was clean and the waitress was very nice and efficient. I also enjoyed the little gift area. Lots of cute, unique items for sale.
Great little family style restaurant along highway 30 going to the Oregon Coast outside Clatskanie. Food was very good served quickly and hot. Service staff we're friendly attentive and patient when ordering. And yes the pie is excellent.
We had a burger and fries plate and the turkey cream cheese cranberry sandwich with clam chowder. Although we wanted to try the Marion berry pie, could not pass up the coconut cream pie. That pie was definitely a coconut custard pie and was definitely good. I really like that turkey sandwich. Hamburger was delicious. They also sell syrups and jams and little sit around and do dads like for your kitchen. Service was excellent. Highly recommend
The Berry Patch is a darling little gem, tucked back in Clatskinie. We had the Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs for breakfast. The restaurant was spotless. They have a cute little area with food, jams, jellies, pies, etc....for sale. The service was impeccable & timely. Our waitress was always checking on us. The food was filling, and prepared perfectly! We'll definitely be going back! The menu had great offerings, yet wasn't overwhelming. Parking is ample, with plenty of room for wheelchair access. We'd recommend The Berry Patch to anyone in the area. Definitely worth the drive.
I do not like pie but even though we only stopped here to use the bathroom we decided to give it a try. Let me tell you, I will take a plane from Florida to taste the marionberry cream pie, this creamy piece of heaven one more time!!! You have to stop by and try this amazing pies.
Great place. Not sure if it is Westport, though. Maybe Clacksinie, Oregon. Great food. I had the special clams, chips and coleslaw. Huge amount of food. Delicious. Wife had the club sandwich. Gigantic! We both had coffee which the waitress always made sure we had enough. We were both too full for any of their pies but bout a couple of items from their store. We were driving a 32’ RV and there was parking available. It is right on Hwy 30 on the left if you are going north. Easy to miss. Service was great.
Our 1st time passing through & we weren't disappointed. I had the chicken sandwich with toasted sourdough bread. My wife had the seafood platter. Both were wonderful. We both had the clam chowder & it was homemade deliciousness. The pie selection is wonderful & very good. Highly recommend stopping but early. They were out of the roast turkey meal my wife wanted & the chicken dumplings that I wanted. Main reason for not 5 stars.
The smell of fresh baked pies as you enter. Corned beef hash and waffles were tasty. Excellent service.Food: 5/5
Chicken fried steak was fantastic.... Service was great as well. Definitely worth stopping in on your way through Westport..
