Always a good meal ! Out door dinning is very nice .Food: 5/5
Just a terrible lunch. Our two salads were probably the most pathetic salads we’ve ever been served. Zucchini ribbons tasted a week old. Used to be good, but never again.
Food was very good and prepared nicely. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Atmosphere however was pleasant but very loud and hard for conversation.Food: 4/5
The food was good, but the price points seem a little off. We had the crab cake apatiser, and it was one medium sized lump crab cake with a very nice sauce, but it was $20, for A crab cake. but I get it to some degree, crab is kinda crazy expensive lately. My dining companion and I both had dinner salads for lunch, she had the salmon and I had the steak salad. I thought it was a bit odd that the server asked how she wanted her salmon cooked which she didn't really know how to answer, but not how I wanted my steak done. The salads were good, but I don't love having the dressing already tossed in my salad and they didn't have any French dressing option. Also the fries in the steak salad were the batter coated sort that are usually a frozen low cost bulk product, fresh fries would really have elevated the dish. The only other notable observation was that the place looked like it could use a deep cleaning. There was a significant amount of dust accumulated in places like the fireplace hood and some bits of paper scattered about the carpet. The cloth table coverings with glass over them are fine, but you wouldn't expect them to have stains under the glass. Bottom line, it was good but not what I would expect for a $75 lunch-for-two dining experience. I'd consider returning for dinner, but probably not going to go out of my way to do so. Parking: Parking was free, easy, and very accessible.
So this was my first experience at Andora, very quaint restaurant. We ate outside in the courtyard very nice and relaxing. Plenty of parking, wheel chair accessible. The menu not huge but enough to find something to please the palate, a little on the pricey side. The food presentation was good, ordered a cocktail and it was definitely pleasing. Parking: Plentiful
Had a fabulous experience here! I ordered a blackened swordfish sandwich instead of tacos- and it was amazing! Excellent fresh cut fries and Cari the bartender was on point. Excellent quality, service and price points!
Hubby had Andoras Chicken. The sauce have a strong flavor banana pepper that was fantastic. Risotto was creamy & perfect. I have the chicken alfresco. It was fantastic. Everybody was friendly service was prompt.Food: 5/5
I like the place a lot. I keep going back. This review is based off 20+ visits. Nothing about it is going to blow you away but everything is above it’s price point and that’s so hard to pull off. Yet they do. Drinks have started to get expensive so maybe it’s 4 stars if you want a few drinks. The food is always so consistently good and for lunch it’s a bargain. Dinner close to a bargain. Service is always good. Never had a negative experience which is amazing. In the winter the inside is cozy. In summer outside is great. Once again my expectation here isn’t Pittsburgh’s finest but Andorra always delivers great food, great service, excellent price. Kudos
Very good service. Our waitress was attentive, helpful, and nice. The stuffed banana peppers were delicious, the best I've had at a restaurant in a long time. The shrimp bisque was good and my wife enjoyed the roast beet salad. The diners were good, smaller portion for the price. My wife was really glad she ordered the kona crusted pork ribeye. The dessert was average, but the coffee was good. I will definitely go back and try a new dinner and for stuffed banana peppers.
I have been calling the restaurant numerous times for 3 days for takeout and also to advise of them if a hat I left there last Sunday. Nobody answered any of the calls. Message just says nobody available. I mean, short staffed or not, someone needs to answer the phone. No manager on duty?? Then today I pickup the item and ask “do you folks ever answer the phone?” Both the hostess and another female server offered no explanation or apology. Unreal. Especially for a place that’s been around so long.
