Originally founded in 1928 as an orphanage for needy youngsters, ANDRUS provides a broad network of supports to nearly 4,500 vulnerable children and families of all backgrounds and means.
Our Campus Programs based on our 110-acre campus in Yonkers serves children with severe emotional and/or behavioral illness through the Residential Treatment Program and at our Blue Ribbon award-winning Orchard School, serving grades K to 9.
In community-based initiatives across Yonkers and Eastchester/Tuckahoe, we partner with local agencies, government organizations and families to address the needs of children from birth through grade school.
With locations in Yonkers, White Plains and Peekskilll- our Mental Health Clinics help to provide counseling to young children with mental health needs through individual, group and family therapy along with school-based programming.
