I was very nervous to start with a new vet office. I had several people give me positive reviews of Animal Health Services. I took my puppy in and was so happy to feel the positive and professional atmosphere. They were very welcoming and pleasant. The vet took the time to answer all of my questions. Everyone that we were in contact with were happy to stop and say hi to my pup. He was not in the least bit scared. I made 2 more appointments immediately. It was 100% a positive experience.
We went here for the first time recently to establish care for our three mutts. There was some discrepancy with overscheduling and the doors were closed upon arrival at 9:30a, but despite a longer wait time than expected, we were very pleased with the attention to care. I have one very noncompliant dog who is traumatized at the vet, and the dogtor did everything to make sure his experience was as pleasant as possible. Despite the upfront delay, this clinic has a very informative sign in their patient rooms that every pet owner should be aware of nowadays. Please see the attached and treat your vets with patience and understanding.
Great to have a way to neuter, but some things to consider: Costs to neuter anywhere have gone up 200%-300% since before the pandemic, the scheduled wait was 3 months, and low cost for low income alternatives in Cowlitz have not started operating again yet and when they do, I imagine long waits. The initial quote was for over $400, but they didn't mention that there is an optional service tacked on at the time, so after going in the total was actually more like $300. The service was good and they had the better costs from me calling around, even though the costs are still high everywhere in my opinion. High enough that much more careful consideration will be placed into when and how many pets we will have going forward.
Everyone at the clinic was so helpful, professional and super nice. They answered all of my questions with a lot of great information.
My baby girl was lethargic not eating not drinking couldn't even walk after her giving birth. I took her into this business hoping they could help my doggy. They told me no because I needed to pay. They cared more about money then they did saving a life. She passed away 4hrs later. You people disgust me. This is not helping animals in an emergency need. A poor doggy lost her life because you couldn't set aside getting paid right then. You'd rather them lose there life. Your no help. Now my whole family and children are devastated over this because we had to say goodbye. Also when I called to let the receptionist know she hung up on me.
Our dog was schedule for an appointment this morning. When we scheduled the appointment we were told that she would be far enough along for her x-ray. When we showed up we were then told that she wasn’t far enough along to see anything and we needed to reschedule the appointment for the following week. Skip to the next tech who then told us that she would have given birth already. I’m not in the vet field, but you can’t say she isn’t far enough along and then say she should have already had the puppies. They clearly aren’t on the same page here. Luckily we found another vet, who wants her in asap, to help with her being due in a week.
Amazing team. Surgical went above and beyond for our Pickle Pie. They actually Care about your pet like it was family. Taking our Dozer in as well. Highly recommend.
I was very impressed with the Dr that seen pepper. I felt she took her time explaining things to me. I’m new to the bunny thing and she gave me advise on having pepper.. she did not rush me at all. She actually sat down and let me ask her questions about bunny’s.
You all did an amazing job with our cat Serene. When people in cowlitz county ask for a veterinarian recommendation, I'll definitely tell them about Animal Health Services
