Really disappointing on many levels. Service has been going down for awhile. But the kicker: The week our dog of 18+ years was to pass, we had questions as to whether we were doing the right thing. Left multiple messages for a call. No one called us. And then after he passed and we called to cancel his check up visits, no condolence calls or cards.
Dr.West-Bugg gave my cat the upmost care from first visit to last. She qui kly was able to address a lump on my boy that was unfortunately cancerous. He qas quickly referred to St Francis to start chemo and recieved supportive care with her through his journey until his time care. If you want to support a local business and an amazing doctor all while getting amazing care for your pet, this is the place.
I would recommend Dr. West-Bugg to anyone. My only regret is that I did not find her sooner. We met under terrible circumstances 2 elderly, very sick dogs, but she was amazing with both of them until the end. She is very caring and knowledgeable. And the staff is wonderful, you can tell they truly love animals. I would not have wanted my dogs last vet visits to have been with anyone else. When I get my next fur baby, we will definitely go see Her and her staff from the beginning.
My dog was a patient here for a little over a year. All but one member of the staff demonstrated consistent incompetence and was rude at pretty much every interaction. When we moved, they destroyed our dog's records almost immediately, making it difficult to quickly get my dog's medicine in our new home. Giving 2 stars because Dr. West-Bug herself is knowledgeable and a good vet but overall the service here is lacking.
Very disappointed in this clinic recently. I have been a patient for many many years and when I contacted them to have my dogs prescription filled no one ever contacted me back - ever. I realize these are challenging times but as an essential service, you need to give your loyal customers more professionalism than this. Needless to say our relationship has severed due to this.
Dr. West-Bugg & Staff have been very helpful diagnosing our sweet dog as he is aging. With his new meds he is the tail wagging, face licking furkid at heart again.
I have been using Dr West-Bugg as my vet since 1998. Her whole staff is an outstanding group of professionals that really care about animals. I have several cats that started as strays and are now beloved family members and without Dr West-Bugg's expertise/guidance, several of my cats would probably not be living happy, healthy lives today. I would highly recommend AHoHN to anyone in need a vet services!
My girlfriend brought her Himalayan cat here because it was having breathing problems, and the vets diagnosed him with asthma and gave him a steroid shot to help him breathe which did nothing. He was then put on oxygen and dismissed once they closed. Not even an hour later her cat collapsed and had a heart attack. He had a heart condition, and they didn’t even consider this and let him die. Do not go to this place!
Dr Stewart and Dr West -Bugg have been our vets for 10 years. They are very caring and compassionate. I recommend them highly.
