We took our sweet 14.5 year old Piglet here for the last year of his life. My only regret, is that we didn’t get him here soon. The team at Woods is absolutely incredible and they always went above and beyond when it came to Pig. They took incredible care of him, helped us learn about his medicine, and we’re always so kind and personable. You can tell that everyone on the team truly cares about every furry friend that is brought in. The prices are very reasonable too. When I’m ready to have a new fur baby, I’ll be taking them to woods!
In loving memory of my beautiful boy Blixa, I just wanted to say never in my life have I found a vet’s office with such kind, caring and compassionate people. Not only were they willing to work with my financial situation but they went above and beyond to do everything they possibly could for him while he was there. I wish I could give every one of them a big hug. I have such immense respect for everyone there. This is exactly how a veterinarian’s office should be run. By people who clearly love the animals over the almighty dollar that so many others focus solely on. And even though things didn’t work out as I’d hoped, I thank them from the bottom of my aching heart for doing their absolute best with compassion and a smile to make even the most grim of situations seem slightly less awful. I will be recommending them to everyone I know. Thank you.
The first come, first serve policy takes getting used to. But, the people are great! They genuinely love animals and show it their service and the very affordable fees. They are patient and very thorough when treating your pet and when explaining your pet's diagnosis, needs, etc.
The grass is not always greener on the other side. I went to another vet to get my dogs teeth cleaned since I did not want to wait. Lesson learned. 1. Front desk said $180 for cleaning but can run up to 700. I had a consultation before hand. Vet said teeth are not bad but may need 2 extractions. Steps out and come with an estimate. I ask why the front desk said $180 and now I see $210. Her reply was things change. Estimate was $210 to $700. 2. Yesterday took my dog thinking it would be $250 or so since her teeth were not bad according to the vet. This is where the nightmare began. I walk in and given the bill a little over $500. I asked the girl why so high? I was told her teeth were not bad since she gets them clean each year. I began to question and the front desk was already mad. She calls the back and tells me " I don’t know they did something like a root canal " Now I’m starting to get upset. Then she tells me the tooth was hard to pull. I’m asking to talk to someone who knows to come talk to me about which teeth were pulled and what was done. The tooth that was about to fall $50.00 the other tooth $210. Nothing no one came out not even the Vet.. I proceeded to pay $400 cash and debit card for the rest. The front desk tells me she put it all on the card. Now I’m freaking out because there is not enough money in my account. I tell her to fix it and return the money. She tells me that I made her nervous asking questions and I need to shut up! This is the front desk. I asked to speak to the Vet because I want to know what was done. After a while the vet comes out and I asked what was wrong with the tooth that it cost $ 210 to pull. You said her teeth were not bad? The Vet went ballistic. Instead of explaining she got extremely rude and loud and all that were there waiting heard her. She was ranting in a loud voice. I gave you an estimate!! What do you want a discount! All I said was, my husband is going to ask me all that was done so I need to know. She walked away and slammed the door behind her. So think twice if you get upset at Randy or Tammy. They are straight up and will answer your questions. Never will I make this mistake again. Yes we all have bad days, but never have I encountered anything like this at Woods.
Someone recommended that I get my puppy neutered here, but now I doubt I’ll be going. I called for INFORMATION about the surgery but whoever answered the phone quickly dismissed me — saying he wouldn’t book a surgery on an animal he hasn’t seen before. But if he had actually listened to me instead of quickly cutting me off, he would’ve known that I was NOT trying to book the surgery right there over the phone. I had questions. That really rubbed me the wrong way…
The best animal hospital I've been to. You have to wait outside to sign in. After that you wait on your car and they'll get you when it's your turn. Great staff and service is fantastic.
14 year experience at Doctor Woods and my dog and I love you all! Rudy misses The social experience of the waiting room But is looking forward to seeing Doc soon for vaccinations and hello!
Best vet office around! Pup loves going. They treat you like family
Best veterinarians around Norcross. They truly care for animals and it shows. The staff is awesome and caring. Wouldn't try to go elsewhere.
My Toy Poodle has been going here since she was two months old. I'm always satisfied with the level of care she receives. This place is affordable and provides top tier service. I wouldn't think of taking my furbaby anywhere else.
