This park was absolutely incredible! Miles of walking trails, art installations, abundant parking, gentle rolling hills and the restored meadow is a feast for the senses. So peaceful. Next time I will take a picnic basket and spend an entire afternoon there.
Absolutely wonderful art museum, the grounds are so beautiful Good walk and pet friendly. The indoor art was great and so was the outdoor sculptures. Worth the drive for a day trip! Free admission and parking. Open Sunday until 5pm as of now. No mask required.
This is hands down one of my favorite places to visit. On a perfect day you have trails to walk or bike. The museum is full of breathtaking history and the information and staff are all amazing. I can't say enough good things about how great this museum is. This was one of the first places I ever came to visit when moving to this area almost three years ago, and now it is one of my most often visited museums. Also if you keep an eye out they also used to offer outdoor movies. At this time I'm not sure if they will be offering them again this year, but if they do it is so much fun. Often times you can find the information on the Raleigh Events page. So keep an eye out if that might be something you are interested in. No matter the reason you visit you will not leave disappointed as there is something here for everyone. So with the weather warming up now I hope you might find the time to stop by and possibly mark this down as one of your new favorite go to spots in Raleigh For more recommendations in the Raleigh area please feel free to follow @raleighunlocked on Instagram. As there are so many great things Raleigh has to offer.
Can't say enough amazing things about the grounds. Dog friendly and bike friendly with the exception of a few, well marked paths. Tons of different easy to follow trails. On and off pavement. Looking forward to spending more time out here!
Expansive park with interesting arts sculptures through the park. Great for groups and kids, path for biking, running and walking. Visitor center had drinks and snacks
Such a beautiful place, the energy is also very refreshing, we went to hike and meditate, enjoy the nature and also the beautiful art sculptures you can find all over the park! A truly gem in Raleigh!
Great paved walking/ biking paths! Park is mostly all sloping hills, but there are lots of places to sit and relax too! Very scenic with art works scattered about! And they have public restrooms! Nice place to spend time!
Conned.to North Carolina museum of Art. The.outdoor space is truley fantastic. We will usually.go with a picnic on a nice day. The art installations are wonderful for taking unique pictures. There is even an outdoor theature with showings throughout the spring, summer and fall.
Love coming here always something interesting to see nature, art sculptures, and paintings. See how much Raleigh has grown go up to the bridge and just look around.
Underwhelming. The area around the pond is nice, but overall, the park reminds me of a large unfinished painting. The artist sketched the basic contours of the composition and seems to have abandoned the effort. Visitors must use their imagination to complete the picture, taking care to incorporate some large weather-worn sculptures that dot the landscape.
