Kind of a hidden gem in a small stripmall, but the inside of the restaurant is much bigger. I had a calzone and it was awesome. Our server was great. My only suggestion is to make the place brighter inside as it just seemed so dark, I think the high ceilings just magnified the effect of darkness. The price is a teenie bit higher than other similar venues but the food quality adjusts for that I think. My wife didn't like her spaghetti pasta but it looked great to me. Parking: Had at least 2 disability spots out front, if I remember correctly.
We stopped by Carrabba's but they had a lengthy wait even at 7:30 on a Monday. We remembered seeing this place and gave it a shot. Such a great call! Our waitress was Sophie, so nice and checked on us multiple times to see if we needed anything. They made pasta exactly to order for my picky eater and she loved it! The pizza was omg delicious! And the spaghetti and meatballs were perfect! Don't believe the negative reviews, go for yourself! So glad we did Kid-friendliness: Staff accommodated my picky eater with spaghetti and meatballs dry with cheese and she loved it! Staff was super friendly and chatted with my child as she asked a million questions that had little to do with dinner.
First time dinners, wife and I, last time diners. Brick Oven pizza there is no brick oven about this pizza. No charring a puddle of water on top, Green peppers and onions not cooked. Chef must've forgotten to put them on before the oven so they put them on after, see pic, and you'll see why we'll never go back. Did I mention we waited to be seated, at the front podium, with 6 different employees within 5 feet of us and not 1 single individual acknowledge our presence?!!?
Great pizza! Pizza Favorita was amazing - no sauce, olive oil, garlic, ricotta, mozzarella, Italian Sausage. Perfect.Food: 5/5
Just got pizza to go, but they have a GF cauliflower pizza, and we got a half veggie, half pepperoni. Excellent!! And good char from the brick oven. Staff were efficient and friendly. Right on!Food: 5/5
I was worried about taking my teenager here after reading some of the reviews but at the same time I wanted a place that was local and not what she thought was upscale dinner the night before she thought was too fancy. I also know that even the favorite local place can get bad reviews when it was just an off night, so I kept the bad reviews to myself and brought teenager here with suggestion of brick fire pizza. It was busy, you could tell it was a favorite place, we did have a small wait but they gave us a menu to look at while we waited. We did decide against pizza once we had read the menu and saw a few plates of pasta come by us as we were being seated. The portions are big, especially if just getting the pasta with no meat side. After she had few bites I did tell teenager about some of the reviews and she couldn't believe it. Everything was good, the staff was friendly. I would go again if in the area.
First ordered calamari, fishy and tough. Then ordered a large veggie pizza. Puddle of water in the middle of the pizza and for brick oven pizza crust wasnt cooked at all. Bottom was white no char to it. No way you were eating a slice NY style. You would be better off eating any where but at Annas. Looked around dining room none of the pizzas were cooked.
Went for a special event, not a retail dinner. Enjoyed a special buffet for the event group. The chicken Marsala was excellent. The cheese pizza was perfect. The salad and bread was outstanding. The meal was so complete and filling, I was not able to pick a dessert, all of which looked great. Restrooms are clean. Staff is friendly and accommodating. An excellent dinner
While visiting Williamsburg with my son we stumbled into this place for dinner. My son ordered Lasagna and he liked it. I ordered Pizza and while it was a good portion and had good ingredients I felt the dough was a bit chewy and could've used a bit more prep work. I might give it another chance next time. Service was good and attentive. Place could use a bit more decor, but overall it was spacious.
My boyfriend and I came here for our 1 year anniversary since it was where we had our first date. The food is delicious- we had the spinach ravioli and stuffed rigatoni. The service was awesome- our server Alyssa was attentive and kind. The dining area is neat and intimate. Would highly recommend!
