Lighting is a little weird when playing pickelball. Pickelball lines are a little confusing. Gray and a little darker gray.
cleanliness overall is very good, i love the facility, and the concessions man fulfills my needs every time i go to the counter, WRC is the best!
I've Attended basketball tournaments here for 3 years. Not well suited for large tournaments. Little seating for spectators. Small bathrooms get very messy and crowded. The entry area is fine for everyday events but offers little space for players and spectators between games.
Very affordable, clean, nice indoor walking track. The only downside is that the exercise room is not that well equipped.
I think this place is for "old" people, so I'll avoid it for now since I'm not in my 80's yet. I remember the days when I went there with my old boss, a pilot for Vision Ease, and that was the airport terminal. I'd rather fly again, instead of what happens there now. I'm sure many people love the place, but it's not my cup of tea - boy does that expression date me - still, you can play pickle ball there for those who can't play Racquetball.... So sad.
We came with our adult children to play pickleball. To our surprise the courts were open...come late morning and go to the back courts.
We have been using the walking track at Whitney for 7 years. It is a great place to get some exercise without enduring the winter weather. You can meet other people doing the same.
Chamber of commerce meets here often, and the staff are great to work with, facility is clean, and is a great benefit to the local community. Lots of interesting paintings, art, and memorabilia hung around, makes for good conversations.
A fabulous place to meet senior citizens who are vital and rich with wisdom! I enjoy the Catholic Charities Senior Dining site there, to get a hot meal for only $4.00.
Not an ideal spot for a volleyball tournament with 18 teams. When you split a court in half you really limit the size of the serving area. Also there was very limited seating at each of the courts and traffic walking in front of you while your trying to watch a match.
