Came into town the night before a cruise and met some family for dinner. The seafood was great and the views of the water are nice. We enjoyed the meal and the desert was amazing. Not the cheapest place but hey it’s Seattle man nothing is going to be cheap least of all the gas prices. If you’re staying at the Marriott it’s right across the street so easy eating.
Perfect place to take that someone special. The waitress was top-notch. My son took me for Mother's Day. The scenery was perfect. I informed the waitress of my shellfish allergy, and she was able to recommend items. They are very pricey but you get the best food and service for your experience.Food: 5/5
We showed up just as they were closing, but they still seated us and provided beautiful service. Calamari was nicely crisp and spicy. Clam Chowder was smooth and tasty. Halibut Fish and Chips was a little small, but very tasty. It was a beautiful, clear, warm evening. MT Rainer made a beautiful showing as well as the boats sailing Elliot Bay.
We took an out of state visitor for the seafood and the view. Upstairs is the Pier 66 restaurant. The food was great, especially the halibut and salmon. Their chowders and salads are also good. Great place to soak up the Sound and Rainier!Food: 4/5
Food was 3.5 stars. The salmon was a bit dry and the cornbread was soggy and would have been better if it have been separated with a garnish buffer. The asperagus was delish. My husband got the cod fish and chips. The fish was really good and the chips were a little undercooked. Very good tarter sauce. The coleslaw was not easy to eat but had a good sauce. The chowder was the best part and drinks were excellent. Great views and great dinner service. There was no host when we checked in and a chef told us we must have reserved for upstairs. But we knew we had reserved downstairs since we booked online and were aware of the difference in restaurants so we had to wait for a server to address us. We are tourists and were not sure how busy it would be and wanted to make sure we got sat and served efficiently. Great views and decent price.
Absolutely loved the seafood and dessert at Anthony’s! The view was beautiful overlooking the water. Seasonal drinks and desserts blew us away, and the fish dishes were also pretty great. Despite being a large restaurant on the touristy area of Seattle, it is definitely worth the visit.
We tried this spot prior to taking a cruise out of Seattle. I feel bad for the waitstaff as they are overworked and short staffed. When we did get our food the wild salmon tacos and clam chowder soup was pretty decent. The calamari came out cold and soggy. The waiter noticed we didn't eat it and took it off the bill. Overall I would not recommend stopping here. There are plenty of good places to eat around this one is just convenient.
We made a reservation at the Seattle Anthony’s location after finding out they were the only ones in the area that served Dungeness crab fettuccine we had gone to the Everett location for this dish the week before and didn’t realize it was exclusive to the Seattle restaurant. It’s been a few years since we’d been to this Anthony’s and we had fond memories of the service and dishes. We got salads and calamari as a starter. While not overly greasy for a fried dish, the calamari was so salty that it overpowered the taste of the squid. The salads had a metallic taste to them absent at other Anthony’s locations. The bread was also served cold and was slightly stale, a stark contrast to the fresh sourdough the chain uses further north. When our mains came out, the fettuccine was good, but the heavy use of spices overpowered the delicate meat of the crab. The crab was also a sparse component of the dish, far outnumbered by chopped up asparagus. While decent, the recipe has definitely changed for the worst over the past couple of years. While the view is gorgeous, the increased price, smaller portion sizes, and lacking flavor make this location not worth the trip. There are many other seafood restaurants in the area that have not compromised taste and quality. While they used to be a great and quality choice for dining, this location is now just a tourist trap offering subpar representations of what Washington seafood has to offer. If you are visiting and looking for a high end seafood experience, I’d recommend trying elsewhere. If you have a car and are dead set on Anthony’s, their Everett location is top tier with the Kirkland option close behind.
Came in with memories of the Bell Street Diner I used to go to back in the late 1990s. Very disappointed. Sat outside and had a good view. Our server was friendly. The food was where we were let down. My wife's salmon salad had way too much dressing. Overwhelming cranberry flavor and soggy lettuce. My two piece ling cod tempura was indeed two pieces... both about the size of a couple of french fries. Two bites each see photo. When I pointed that out to the server that the serving size was a bit small, he just said, "Yeah" and walked away. Maybe upstairs is a bet bet.
It was my business trip in Seattle and our team had really good dinner here. The staffs are very friendly and perfect service!Food: 5/5
