My advice would be - RUN. Never sign up with this gym at all, because their billing practices are extremely dishonest. If you scroll through the negative reviews you'll find other folks who also kept getting charged when they shouldn't, and promised refunds that never came - and it's no surprise that they also mention Kaelynn by name! Once they have the ability to charge your accounts, they will charge you when they shouldn't, lie to your face about it, and threaten to send you to collections if you try to exercise your legal rights as a consumer to dispute their charges. They overcharged me about $500 for overpriced personal training which was supposed to be stopped, and then lied to me for 6 months about a refund. They always claimed it was always "on the way" - until I got tired of the excuses, and then they pretended it never happened. All those times Kaelynn Herbert claimed she had sent emails putting it through, she was lying to my face, according to the area manager. Thanks Kaelynn, you're a real peach! There will always be excuses why their paperwork is missing, or does not match your own. "Their computers are down", "their system shows that never happened", etc. Never trust anything they tell you or promise you, they are very experienced and convincing liars who fully know how to smile to your face and tell you one thing while entering completely different information into their system. If you're already a member - INSIST on a paper copy of anything they tell you, in writing. They will tell you anything to get your billing info, but after that, you're just prey to be exploited. Trying to cancel will be a nightmare, so it's better never to sign up. They will literally laugh in your face about taking advantage of you. You'll be wondering what happened to all those smiling faces and happy promises, because they flip the script on you fast after the scam is up. They don't seem to be in the business of providing valuable gym training, just milking your bank account with false charges and deceptive tactics, while racking up Silver Sneakers memberships to keep the lights on. I don't think they would even be able to stay in business if they were forced to rely on people actually paying for their own memberships. If you google anytime fitness scams, you will find that this is standard practice - NOT an exception. Go somewhere else. Go ANYWHERE else.
Good luck trying to cancel. We moved out of state very quickly for my husbands job relocating and tried to cancel over the phone which the manager Kaylyn told us to send an email. Almost 6 months later and after calling 3 times being reassured our membership was cancelled and we would get our money back we’re still being charged. Clearly they have no urgency to correct their own mistakes. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless you’d like to be dismissed or you plan on paying for a membership for the rest of your life.
CAUTION: this is a byotpbring your own toilet paper facility. Bathrooms are never clean and never have tp anymore. Used to be the nicest anytime around, but upkeep has certainly fallen over the years.
Minimal equipment, rude staff, and not a serious workout environment. None of the staff is in shape but hold "workouts" for people that don't know anything about exercise. Their workout plans give them zero progress and are just designed to keep them coming back. This gym is the definition of a commercial gym. Updated response: I was a member of the north vernon anytime, but I workout here because I worked in greensburg. I assure you everything I said here is true and you operate a poor facility. I left the other review to the north vernon one because they didn't cancel my membership when they said they would. I was literally yelled at for deadlifting in the deadlift area too loud. That is just one example of how your gym isn't for serious lifters.
Outstanding place. Great customer service...clean n organized. No matter size of gym. It's a great place. Lady who checked me In was so polite. Thanks lady!
So I'm visiting from MN this week, and my membership is a few days short of activated for all gyms nationwide, and the fabulous staff loaned me a fob for the unstaffed holidays! What a blessing to work off those calories by 91 year old mom is feeding me. Happy Holidays ANYTIME FITNESS!! Great staff, great experience!!
Visited as a guest, and the staff was very welcoming. Great facility and has all the equipment you need. Would definitely be a member if I lived in the area.
I have been going to this gym for years and I love it! The trainers and staff are awesome! They are so motivating and inspire me to keep working towards my goals. The atmosphere is very welcoming! Love working out here!!
This is an amazing gym.. The Staff, trainers and coaches are friendly and helpful .. The facility is always clean..The team building sessions are fun and you get a great workout. I love my FitFam there.. You get email and text reminders of your workouts.. The other members there are kind and supportive ..I wish i had found this place sooner.
