This Anytime Fitness gym is on the smaller side but it stands out from all the other gyms in the area because of its fantastic atmosphere. If you're like me, you're going to spend 1-2 hours at the gym everyday so atmosphere becomes important because you don't want to dread going into a stuffy fluorescent-lighting office setting. Unlike most gyms, this one benefits from tons of natural outdoor lighting and a freeing sense of openness due to its large windows and high ceiling. Also, the Pinellas Trail is right behind the gym which makes it great to go on a cardio jog after finishing a strength workout. Everything is clean, all the equipment is well stocked, the private bathrooms and showers has everything one would need. Staff is knowledgeable, warm and friendly Trevor is an expert in health & fitness. Highly recommended.
I have been going to this particular gym for a couple months. There are several reviews complaining about the staff, size, and cleanliness of the gym. I have personally never had any issues with any members of the staff. From my own experiences, they are always friendly. Yes, it is a small gym. You will notice that as you drive by it. You may not get a lot of variety in equipment that you might find in other locations, but it's better suited for people who prefer smaller gyms. As for cleanliness, I have never noticed any of these so-called bugs. The gym is well maintained whenever I go in. The women's restroom is always clean when I use it.
I stopped in here several times while on vacation and used my out of state pass. Very nice gym, open feeling, clean and friendly staff even though I was just a visitor. Machines were all in good shape, with one minor repair that needed to be done on a treadmill incline, but those things happen. Otherwise very well kept up dated.
Extremely poor customer service. My husband and I joined Anytime Fitness at this location in 2016. We moved in early 2017 and have repeatedly tried to cancel our memberships since that time. Kendra emailed us the forms in April which we completed and returned and were told the last charge would be May of 2017 however she failed to actually cancel our memberships. Come June 2017 we were charged and when we called to inquire about the charge Kendra admitted receiving the cancellation forms and further admitted that she did not cancel because she "may have had a lot going on" the day we scanned and emailed the forms back to her. We requested a refund for the June charge and that she immediately cancel our memberships. She agreed to finally cancel our memberships but stated she would have to speak with the owner and get back to us about a refund for the June charge. She failed to follow up with up with us and stopped responding to emails. I received a call this morning from ABC billing who apparently does the billing for this location of Anytime Fitness and they informed me our memberships are STILL active!! Can't believe the manager Kendra has still not canceled our memberships! So this is how they treat a disabled combat veteran and his wife FYI! Beware!
Anytime Fitness is a joke. The bathrooms are always dirty and only one bathroom. The drink machine never works. I can't wait until my membership is over. I will go somewhere else and save at least 20.00 a month. The manager is not very friendly. I said hi to him and he acted like he did not see me so I said hello again he responded back in a rude manner. Whenever he comes in which is rare I leave. The place is negative and I would not recomemend going there or at least check other places out. It is a great place to go if.....you do not have to use the bathroom or if you never get thirsty and if you want to have the place to yourself. It is never busy.
LOVE ANYTIME FITNESS! Looking for a new AnyTime Fitness location, old location in Pasadena and I loved it! Clean, great staff, nice equipment. This location is the one near my home now but I am worried with all the reviews, anyone currently a member that can give me some input - thanks!
Other AF locations are fine, but this one has a few issues. It's very small and some of the machines are within inches of each other, and the lights are on shortly-timed and insensitive motion detectors, so the entire place regularly goes dark if you're on the treadmill or doing long yoga stretches and not waving your arms around wildly. I was also stung by a wasp in the shower room and have seen numerous ants, beetles, and other bugs crawling around. Pest control at this location would be a good first step.
Today like the last 4 weeks, no water or power drinks to buy. Sign says Pepsi coming ASAP, really 4 weeks? No paper towels at 2 out of 3 dispensers and no spray cleaner at the one that had towels. Forget about washing hands in women's restroom, the dispenser is broke too. Have to go back to the one dispenser in gym that has some. This is FLU season and besides its Gross! I went to tell the one person that's been in the office but it's locked up tight.must have gone to lunch. Maybe she went to workout. Time to check out Some competition, maybe Planet. One more thing the building is like Blacked out about 2x a week. I come by around midnight.
Absolutely disgusting gym. ABSOLUTLEY DISGUSTING PEOPLE THAT WORK AT THIS GYM. If you are a customer how can you show attitude toward a customer. In all my years of working out I could not fathom a more horrible gym. The workers here are horrible and need a attitude adjustment . STAY AWAY FROM THIS GYM. TYRONE LOCATION
Place is great.. plenty of equipment available to use.. only issue I have is who ever comes in and cleans on Sundays doesn't know how to clean away from people who are working out... I've had him sweep near me and fling dirt on me one to many times. Lol
