I really wanted to like this school, especially after the tour was over and done with. The woman who gave us the tour told me about all that the school had to offer. She said that my children would be able to participate in music lessons specifically for the violin and dance. My kids are reaching the end of the school year, now. Unfortunately no one knows that their extracurricular activities are only for certain ages/grades. Most of them being 3rd and up. I had a Kind. 2nd and 3rd grader, though! I was even more floored to find out that even my 3rd grader could not participate in violin lessons because she was inexperienced/had no previous music lessons!?? I had to chase down the music teacher for 2 months to find out this information because as the other review said, no one returns emails, phone calls, or notes of any kind. I was totally disappointed by the lack caring towards the parents and their time that it takes just to come out to the school. Not only that but my daughters were also dealing with bullying from the kids on their bus all the way up to her teacher Mrs. Wimberly. The school did "an investigation" but to no avail. They just ended up moving my daughter even after her friend in class told me that the teacher had a problem with hitting/keeping her hands to herself. I have come across some really nice people here who will try really hard to assist you in any way but they are few and none. Good Luck, if you are deciding to send your children here and be ready to show up at a moments notice because more than likely you will have to consistently.
Great school. Well balanced in academics, the arts and social events for the students. The administration exposes the students to a variety of venues to broaden their awareness for future employment or to start a business. The current principal is truly down to earth, and is a superior leader in guiding her teachers and staff into the technology and academic world. November 17, 2014
My son attends this school and I'd never had any problems with any staff. When I change his pick up I have to go through the proper channels to change anything. I love this school very much.
I went to pick up a child that was not my child. No one checked my ID or even asked my name. This was my first time picking this child up. Unacceptable!!!!! Even after talking with staff about this, no one asked my name or my relationship to the child.
