Best wings in town as far as I'm concerned. If you like a sauce with some kick and a great flavor then Shearon Harris is definitely the one you want to try. The rest of the menu has a good variety and the staff is super friendly. Always a great experience here.
Best chicken wings and boneless wings! The boneless are real chicken breast meat not that processed chicken nugget. There are plenty of flavors to choose from as well as a great selection of sides. Great customer service! A favorite food spot of ours!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
Deliciously intimate hide away wing spot. Tons of flavors and options other than wings. I will def visit again! Great service, don’t go if you’re in a rush though lol we were late back to the office.
First time here. The wings honey schiracha got a kick which is good. The other folks' reviews about the friendly bar staff and regulars are on point. Met a couple of them and instantly welcomed. Will definitely be back.
First time visiting. Overall the food was pretty good. We ordered the fried mushrooms. They were nice and crispy and well cooked, but they lacked seasoning. We also had the onion rings, they were cooked well and the flavor was good. We got the 12 piece bone in chicken wings with BBQ and Sweet habanero. The habanero does have flavor and isn't just all heat, the sweetness comes from them mixing bbq sauce in. The BBQ had a nice smokey flavor. The cook on the wings was good as well. I requested the BBQ to be extra crispy and they did not disappoint. The wings were also drowning in sauce instead of just coated. My son got the kids hamburger with fries and ate it all. The Texas toast that came with the wings was a big let down. It really was just a thick slice of bread not toasted with a dash of what we think was cheese. Service was good and very friendly, but COVID precautions seemed non-existent from both staff and patrons.
7 of us arrived about 40 minutes to closing. We were greeted & quickly seated. Our waitress worked her butt off & never missed a beat. We were well taken care of, our food was great & the service was the best. We were finished at 2 minutes to 9 closing time but never felt rushed. We paid our $138 tab, thank her for her impeccable service & left her a $50 tip. See kids if you work hard & do a good job people will reward you. You aren't entitled to anything. You EARN what you get. Oh, and the wings at Apex Wings is phenomenal!!! Highly recommend
UPDATE: We frequent Apex Wings quite often and never had a bad meal until now. My husband picked up 15 medium wings, a 6pc boneless terriaki meal, a 6 pc boneless thai chili meal and a 6 pc orange seasame. All three 6pc meals had very overcooked onion rings to the point the edges are burnt! We live in Pittsboro so it wasn't like we could run back in for properly cooked ones. They were not edible at all, just nasty. I tried calling and I pressed "2" to speak to someone, only to be disconnected twice. So needless to say I am not happy about the food, nor the fact that I couldn't actually speak to a human. I sincerely hope that this is not the new standard for Apex Wings. My first review: Always great wings served quickly!
I've have never had any desire to go to a place that serves wings, considering them to be the boniest and most difficult part of a chicken to eat. But my wife promised I would love this place, and she was 100% correct. My *boneless* wings were delicious, and I don't know that I've ever had a better and more generous helping of onion rings. This place can easily be missed because it can't be seen from the road Highway 55, but it's a "must know" if you live in Apex. A fantastic find!
Great wings. Liked it so much we went back on consecutive weekends. Kind of a weird spot and the interior could use some improvement. Sauces were excellent and so was the sauce variety. Wings themselves were juicy with a crisp outside. On the larger side for wings. Tried 2 appetizers so far and both were good and a large portion. The sandwiches also looked very appetizing. Service was very good for having a short staff. Beer selection is also very good. Very pleased we went there and will obviously return.
Fantastic wings, the boneless/traditional combo is a great option! Both were super crispy and flavorful and despite it being a busy dinner rush, the service was fantastic! My only suggestion to management would be to have a "seat yourself" sign. I didn't see one and wandered aimlessly for awhile before asking another customer and seating myself outside.
