Just picked up a great new laptop. 10/10 service. Lots of workers. Approached me right away and offered advice on my new computer. Very nice people.
Ever since the Apple Store opened on Chestnut, all of my phones have been iPhones. While I wish their products included instructions, I’ve generally been quite happy with the phones and service. Even if you call, Apple customer service can be very helpful. I still think their prices are far too high but, they’re only going to keep going up. I see no reason nor can I afford to keep up with the latest models. When I see long lines just to be the first to have the newest phone, I just have to laugh! Do you really have nothing better to spend your money on? How about skipping the new model and donating to a worthy charity? Somehow, with today’s materialism, I doubt that will happen. Sigh
Literally impossible to buy an iPhone 14 Pro in-store sold out or online, even if you pre-order it for it pick-up. 30min before the pick-up time they emailed me to call them to verify "something" and promised to hold the order for 6 days. I called - they told me that everything is fine and I should get a confirmation email soon Instead they canceled my order without any specified reason or email notice. I called them again, but they sold it to someone else in that 30min span, as I was unaware that the order was auto-canceled. In-store experience sucks even more: they make you book an appointment for a later time without checking if your iPhone is available at all, so I ended up coming at a later time & waiting 15min, only to be offered to order online again Overall, I love Apple, but their US purchase service is unacceptable even considering the high demand.
Worst Apple Store I have ever been to. One of the managers, Lorie, was extremely unhelpful and just seemed like she didn’t want to work.
Incompetent. I've come because my iPhone was giving an error when updating to iOS 15.7. I spent 30 min with 2 people to reproduce the error. Explaining that no I didn't want to update to iOS 16, but yes I was having an error at the end of downloading the iOS 15.7 update. After seeing by themselves, they sent me over to the Genius Bar, to get some more in-depth help I presumed. Again, I explained the problem, showed the screenshot of the error I got, and said I wanted to upgrade to iOS 15.7. "Just to make sure: I don't want iOS 16", to which my Genius helper replied: "yes of course". After another 45 min of downloads and progress bars filling slowly, my iPhone finally wake up... to iOS 16! It is incredible, I have explained in details to 3 people what my problem was, and double-checked with everybody which iOS version I was trying to get. At the end of the 1.5 hour in the store, they didn't fix my problem, ignored my request to not upgrade to iOS 16, and basically did what I could have done by myself at home. I got a: "Oh I am sorry, we cannot revert to iOS 15. Anything else?". Well... no. A very underwhelming and frustrating experience in retrospect.
I purchased an iPhone 12 Pro just over a year ago. Recently, the phone started dropping audio from my phone and Facetime calls. At this store, they observed the problem but were unable to repair the phone and refused to replace it. The techs and manager seemed to prioritize blaming the issue on speculative external factors the case, the SIM card, the carrier, etc. over trying to fix what is by all indications an issue with the phone itself.
Excellent place to find latest apple products.
Had an appointment for 2:10, wasn’t seen until 3pm, I’m super busy so that sucked, but otherwise they were very helpful and the store is in a great location.
The employees of this branch are very helpful. Special shout-out to Eric and Sam. They're knowledgeable, patient and creative with their solutioning.
Just had an appointment with Harrison at the Genius Bar. He was beyond helpful and it was the best experience I have ever had at Apple!
