While I dislike writing negative reviews, this place truly deserves one. The store's service was so poor that it doesn't even deserve a single star. I went there to buy an iPhone, knowing exactly which phone I wanted, so there was no need for browsing. However, the lineup was disorganized, with no one monitoring it, leading to customers being served based on proximity to sales representatives rather than waiting times. After waiting for 15 minutes, I approached a sales rep and expressed my desire to buy a phone. Unfortunately, he told me everyone was busy and I had to wait for 10-15 minutes, despite seeing other available sales reps. Eventually, after waiting for another 25 minutes, a sales rep finally assisted me. In summary, this place urgently needs to develop and implement a better system to serve its customers properly.
Great people working there. Poor resolution! I made an appt to change my phones battery… drove one hour to get there… they did diagnostics and then told me there was no battery on site for my phone. I spoke with the manager Ester I believe and she just said sorry… that’s the way it is…. I agreed to wait for them to order the batteryup to 5 day wait… drove one hour home. Upon my arrival - literally 3 min after getting home I got a email saying my battery was in. So staff 5 star, manager 2 star. Service poor. I’m being generous with 1 star. I hope others experience isn’t as poor.
Went in to get a new device as the one my mother had was about 10 years old and it was finally kicking the bucket, as well as some other technical support. We were assisted by Vince, Esther, Tony, and another technician I sadly couldn’t remember her name. Fantastic service, warm welcome, and we were there for about an hour or so for technical support for the circumstance of the issue, not the wait time, and we kept getting checked in on, making sure everything was going alright. Honestly, a great experience!
I’m a frequent shopper at this location and I’m generally very satisfied with my experiences with staff and the overall store every time I come in. There are many great people who work here and there’s always a good selection of products and accessories as well. It’s not as big of a location as the one at Yorkdale, or Eaton Centre, but to me this one feels like home. Overall good store and would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.
I had the bad experienced ever , I must begin to say that the service was very poor, also the waiting time was excessive ridiculous. When it is finally my turn, the person who attended me did not solve my problem, just made my situation worse, she wasn't professional, rude, and she left because her shift was done, with out offered another assistant. She just told me , call Apple support ,they may be available to look this issues for you. I just around and thinks this is not right, something need to be done. So I decided to writing this review to hope nobody get same low , rude, disrespectful and poor customer service , from this people who work for this poor management Apple store . Please avoid this store!!! Thank you
My Beats Solo Pros started hissing on the one side, only in transparency or sound canceling mode. Took them here to get fixed. It required a total of 6 visits to get it fully resolved. #1. Showed up with proof of purchase, store personnel informed me to get support online, they don't do warranty in store. #2. Wasn't able to provide proof of purchase since the ONLY WAY to upload documents to there ticketing system is with apple ID, which I don't and will not have. Returned to store to have them process the warranty claim. They send them in to "depot" for repair. #3 returned to pickup repaired unit when notified, tried them on, still not fixed. Send back to depot. #4 returned, but were AGAIN not fixed. Not even touched. just before closing so they chased me out and told me to come back another day. #5 returned again to a different shift. No one knew my case, or seemed to care. Someone went out back and talked on the phone with higher up support for a while. Came back and told me to call apple, along with a new case number I will be emailed. Waited a few days and never got the email. Called apple anyways and they couldn't do anything. #6 returned to the store again, to the same shift I had been working with from the start. Someone, who's name I forget was extremely helpful, but her help was of very little value due to the extreme restrictions these apple store employees are under. Literally reminds me of a communist regime! She did get the case approved for a replacement, send back my old set and was returned with a brand new one.... FINALLY! I never returned and never will. I hadn't known Beats was owned by apple untill after I purchased them and these Beats are the last ones I'll ever own. PS, one of the times at the store, I met this older couple that was quoted over $500 to replace a screen on there iPhone. I have replaced screens myself but knew I didn't have one in stock, so I referred them to a local 3rd party repair shop. Later that day I got a text saying they got it repaired for $180, and informed me they will also never go to the apple store again!
Sadly, this store’s store was great…but the policies are ineffective & not client centred. My daughter dropped of her computer for fixing on Thursday, May 25. She is a student at Waterloo with a learning issue. She was told to come back on Sunday May 28. It was not ready, they were awaiting parts…I understand that….but now it’s Saturday June 3rd, and there has been no loaner offered, no work around. We have Apple care & the computer is under warranty. Apple should have even just given her a new computer. I have politely spoken to many staff at the store & higher up & the chain of command can’t seem to get it together. I have been a loyal customer and and disgusted at the lack of logical thought process. As supply chains are struggling, companies change policies to give their clients service. In this case, my daughter has lost more than the averages student, as her computer is a device used to assist her visual learning issues. I’m beyond livid.
Dishonest and rude service. I booked an appointment for a battery replacement and once at the store was told no it can not happen today and to come back the next day. The manager Sandra was extremely extremely rude with me and my wife when we asked to speak to a different manager. This place definitely needs more training and to tone down the arrogance. Sandra needs training on how to be respectful.
Poor customer service : I think it comes from corporate training folks to be as “efficient” as possible. Used to be much more personal. The folks who work here are nice enough but it seems like the policies they have to enforce makes it rough.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I don't buy Apple products but I accompanied my dad as he wanted an Apple watch 8. The staff there were either rude or nice nothing in between. I asked the first lady for help buying the watch but she was very short and rude with me when listing out what specs I could get for it I was clear I didn't know much about the watch but she treated us as if we were stupid. Hate to pull the race card but I think it is worth mentioning they were a lot more friendly with the white clientele. Anyway I asked another staff member for help and they were a lot better and we got the watch. Fast forward to a week after my dad didn't like the watch and wanted to return it. They took one look at it and said nope! The screen was just barely scratched and thanks to the fine print on the back of the receipt we were basically told to leave. No help what do ever. Not even a reduced refund which we were willing to take. Just a thank you for the money and get out of our store. Honestly I didn't think they would be this bad but Apple always finds a way to surprise me! I've attached a pic of the watch for you to see. In short I wouldn't buy Apple products but if I did I would probably buy it from Amazon as their customer service would have been much better.
