I purchased the $800 Hermes watch from Apple Renaissance store in Ridgeland Mississippi on Thursday, 5th September, brought it home to discover the charger is bad. Brought it back to the Apple Store the next day and after spending an hour, waiting to be helped, I was told they don’t have a charger in stock. However, there was a charger on the shelf. When I found it, I was told they couldn’t give me that one and have to order a charger and call me when it comes in. She also said you can buy that one, if you want. So, I’ll have to come back and wait another hour to pick it up. The girl waiting on me was rude and shouldn’t be working at Apple. Not sure what happened to Apple. People there were very friendly and helpful in the past. I’ve always thought Apple products were expensive but also thought you get what you pay for and Apple has some fine products. It’s the people that make a company. Of course the products have much to do with success, but people can ruin a company quicker than products can be produced. The entire experience could have been much different if the employee showed a little interest in my needs and acted like she enjoyed her job helping customers. However, she acted like she would rather be somewhere else, and maybe she should!
Really terrible store. When I walked into the store I was told that I had to turn off “Find My iPhone” even though I was there for a laptop repair. I was not offered a reasonable explanation for the policy. I was told that it was just the rule and I would not be served if I didn’t do it. My “genius” was more than 15 minutes late for the start of my appointment. I left my laptop for repairs, but they were not able to do the work as promised. A couple of days after I left it, I got two different prices that were both higher than the original estimate and involved shipping the laptop to a different location. There was no explanation of why they gave me two prices or why there was a new price a few hours after the first estimate. Also they never answered the phone when I tried to return their calls. I tried multiple times and always got forwarded to main Apple support. A lovely lady from main support put me on hold while SHE tried to call them. I eventually hung up because I had been on hold so long. She must have eventually gotten through, because a man from the store called me about 15 minutes after I hung up. This is not the first time I’ve had issues with this location. Employees here were rude to my elderly mother in the past. In future I will take my business to the Germantown TN store.
Awful experience at this store. Got my battery replaced but they damaged the front camera. Had to argue with one of the representatives. She is the girl with hat which was sassy and rude i think her name is Nesha. Had to talk to store manager and he was polite and helpful to get it fixed. Just don’t get your stuff fixed because they will either make it worse or damage it without reimbursement.
No one could help me with my sons iPhone he was in a wreck and his phone was destroyed. He was in the hospital and I was trying to use his apple care to replace his phone. Because he could not remember apple password they just could not do anything I was very disappointed I have all apple products for home and business because of the apple care but I actually had to buy new phone for him and 6 weeks later still have not received assistance with is apple info so he could at least get his contacts back.
Tim at the genius accused me of having a stolen computer and refused service even after I showed receipt of purchase. I used Apple support chat to set up an appointment and was told I only needed proof of purchase to repair my computer. They were trying to leave work early and did not want to be stuck fixing computers. I set up my appointment online, but was then told in store that I could not be helped in store, only online. Waste of time and about $2500.
Went to purchase Ultra Watch. After purchase, it would not sync with my Iphone 6SPlus. Upsold a new 14Pro phone. Spent three and a half hours in the store and they failed to sync the new phone with the old or the Watch with the phone. I have a partially working phone and a not working watch and I spent over $2000.00 I would not recommend this store.
We went into the store for help at Apple renaissance. We were also on the phone with apple support at the time. Apple support wanted to speak with someone inside Apple renaissance to get a better understanding. The representatives at Apple renaissance were very rude and did not want to listen to what we have to say. Very disappointed.
I would call it the apple moron bar. Sales people knew less than my brother and I. I will be buying an iPhone soon, but not from here. And rude, I have only been in maybe five Apple stores, this one is by far the worst and I will not be back and would steer anyone I know away from it. Really.
Only reason I will give this store two stars is because of the nice greeters at the door, let me explain my experience from start to finish I called before I made the 2hr drive to the store to make sure I could get the repairs on my phone my appointment was at 3:00 I arrived at 3:05 due to the crowed parking lot so they pushed my time back to 3:50 for a 5 min delay I was greeted at the door but tech wasn’t trying to fix my phone instead trying to make me purchase at new one or get something else that wasn’t even the issue finally they told me they can fix the issue only I left my phone in the store over a hour only to come back and they tell me they don’t feel comfortable fixing me but will pay me for it to keep it and wanted to sake me a phone worst experience ever
We waited an hour for them to tell us they couldn’t help us. Apple support literally told us to go to the store. The store said we will have to call apple support! They were more worried about trying to make a sale then helping with support. Stupid, ignorant, incompetent people.
