Applebee’s Bar and Grill - Cape Girardeau

Didn’t open up until a few minutes after opening time. People standing outside and staff inside sitting. Went inside and each table in our section was dirty from night before and there was trash in the floor. Did not look like restaurant had been cleaned from last night. I hope someone sees this in management and takes care of the problem. Some of the ones sitting around b4 opening should have been cleaning the place up. Food decent but Probably won’t come back for a while because of uncleanliness. Waitress was friendly but they were out of several things we ordered.

Not real pleased with my visit there this afternoon! Took them about a half an hour or more just to get us some shrimp and riblets. Had to get my own silverware. Then food was finally brought they did not have slaw. Waitress said they just ran out as she was going to get some. I was kind of upset about this and I'm sure she could tell so about 10 minutes later a man came out with some. The food was okay I don't have a real issue with that but the service was not that great and basically overall was not a really good setting. The place was not that busy they should have been able to get of us a lot quicker than what they did I'll think three or four times about going there again.

we had a HUGE takeout order! Feeding 30 college students isn’t easy! everything was packaged well and enjoyed. We had a good experience when options were thin in regards to where we could order from!Food: 4/5

I love Applebee's, but tonight was very disappointed. My party of two had to ask to be seated. While the hostess was sitting at a table rolling silverware, I think. There was an open pack of cigarettes on the table. White pack, I don't smoke I so can't remember the brand. After we were seated, I ask our server twice for lemon at our table. Finally stopped another server and ask. I ordered a house salad which I never received. My friend ordered bread with her meal and the bread was placed on my plate and I was charged for it. It was only .30 so I didn't say anything. Told the guy who delivered our food to make sure my dinner salad wasn't on ticket so at this point I gave up. Food was great. Too much butter in potatoes. The plate floating in butter. It will be awhile before I go back.

Anna was the server she is absolutely amazing!!!! Her customer service is superb!!! It’s our first time at the Cape Girardeau location Kid-friendliness: There was a couple here with a beautiful 1yr old babygirl

I’m not sure why my family and I keeps trying and giving them shots because we’re disappointed time after time. Our latest experience was an online order where they claimed they never even saw it after about 30-40 minutes. And said they would get started on it. Just left and never spoke to me again until after another 15-20 minutes, I asked again about our food. At this point they were “finishing it up” another 10 minutes we got our food. As the TWO sides, I asked for fries and still got half the amount of fries as my husband that got fries and broccoli as his sides. They were hateful and never offered an apology or anything. Acted like they didn’t care one bit. Very frustrating and will order elsewhere from here on out.

The drinks were good but to much sugar, the cheese bite always so perfect. The new hamburger was good but the onions and mushrooms were to much over cooked

Very disappointed. There were only 3 other tables there and we were seated next to the entry and immediately below one of the other tables. Was ignored when I asked to be moved to another table. The hostess couldn't have cared less. My husband's fish was overcooked/burnt outside batter and then raw /cold on the inside. Fries were also overcooked so I presume the frier was up too high. My husband was ill overnight. They did take my husband's meal off the bill, which was nice. For a quiet night they could have done so much better. Won't be going back after that experience.

My husband and I just left Applebee's it was a father's day lunch. My food was fine, my husband's food was not. He ordered the 3 cheese pasta with the chicken tenders. He sent it back bc the chicken was missing 1, and when he tasted the pasta there was NO cheese and it was bland. He asked for a manager at that point. The managers solution was to bring him some cheese sauce in a container. By the time he received the sauce the pasta was cold. At that point, we asked for to go containers and we left. He was very disappointed by the experience.

We came in tonight after a concert. Arrived at 1130 and we were rushed from the time we came in the door. After I ordered my food, the waitress Anna comes back about 10 min later and tells me they don’t have the stuff to make my food tonight. Then when our food is delivered she proceeds to tell us that she will bring us to go boxes because they are closing. When she brought me the boxes I told her to take them back. The place was very dirty. When given my check to pay the food that they didn’t hv was still on there and I had to ask for it to be removed. I am not very happy with my experience tonight.
