I love Applebee's, but tonight was very disappointed. My party of two had to ask to be seated. While the hostess was sitting at a table rolling silverware, I think. There was an open pack of cigarettes on the table. White pack, I don't smoke I so can't remember the brand. After we were seated, I ask our server twice for lemon at our table. Finally stopped another server and ask. I ordered a house salad which I never received. My friend ordered bread with her meal and the bread was placed on my plate and I was charged for it. It was only .30 so I didn't say anything. Told the guy who delivered our food to make sure my dinner salad wasn't on ticket so at this point I gave up. Food was great. Too much butter in potatoes. The plate floating in butter. It will be awhile before I go back.
The drinks were good but to much sugar, the cheese bite always so perfect. The new hamburger was good but the onions and mushrooms were to much over cooked
Went here for lunch today. Ordered Shrimp and Sirloin steak, medium well. And a Blondie for desert. Got my meal, the sauce on my steak was thick, and curdled, and my steak was raw. My potatoes were cold as ice. Which told me they weren't fresh. It was lunch time, like 1200. There's no way they would be that ice cold at 12:00. I sent the food back and ordered something deepfried, that way I knew they couldn't mess it up. Or could they? Ohhh but they could. My chips were super stale. Pretty sure they took old chips, and re-fried them or whatever they do to re-cook them, and heat them up. My mom ordered a shirloin, and didn't get a sirloin. And her potatoes were cold as ice. The blonde, was hard. But my daughter loved her corn dog, so congrats on being able to cook a corn dog. Never again. Applebee's use to be my go to. Last time I went I said it would be a long time before I came back, over a year later...I'm done eating there. See pictures.
Waitress took forever to come take our order. Did not write it down. Then proceeded to mess with the menus behind a table. Then she went over to a table to talk to some guys before placing our order to the kitchen. The plate with our mozzarella sticks was dirty. The waitress was complaining about how much money she makes right in front of customers. My wife's shrimp was not cooked all the way. And they apparently dont have butter to properly cook the shrimp.
I haven't been to an Applebee's in probably a decade. They used to be great but this place is greatly lacking. It's in dire need of an update and a deep clean. The floors look like they haven't ever been replaced, dirty, very wore down. The bathrooms are the same. We got a sampler appetizer, comes with a variety of things. The chicken quesadilla was super greasy, the spinach dip was cold to the point we had to send it back. I got a steak, mashed potato, broccoli. Steak was over cooked, potatoes were cold. The highlight of my husband's meal was the waffle friws. My drink sat on the edge of the table empty until I had to ask the waitress going by for a refill. We don't go to cape that often but when we do, we won't be going here again. It was the worst dining experience I've had in a while.
When I last went it was very cold inside and the table was very sticky. Only saw the server when we ordered food and paid. It took about 15 minutes before she would come and check us out. The food was the only thing I was impressed with.Food: 5/5
Love Applebees but the food was absolutely terrible! The food was so over seasoned, the chicken taste like rubber. It was so terrible we paid a $100 tab and ended up going somewhere else to grab something. The portions were also aweful!
Great place, have always gotten good service. I love love love the chicken wan tons, I get them every time we go. Also got one of the best margaritas ever, get the one shaken with patrione.Food: 5/5
Hot mess!! Food was burnt to a crisp on all our meals, server was in training and the trainee didn't know the menu and we were overcharged. The dining area was filthy and trashed. Very disappointed.Food: 1/5
Steak was way under cooked. Mash potatoes was soupy gross and they brought me my salad with my main course. The salad was horrible tourt for ceaser salad. The server was dirty and gross. This used to be 1 of my favorite places to go after today I don't think I can ever go back. Do places not care about quality anymore. It wasn't even busy hardly anyone thr. What's going on Applebee's what happened to your restaurant.
