This place is great -- really good food, at really good prices. I ordered a Classic Cheeseburger with fries, two kids grilled cheese sandwiches, each with side of cole slaw substituting for french fries, and an extra side order of onion rings. It all cost about $30, and the quality of the food was top notch. The beef they use for their hamburgers is super lean and practically melts in your mouth, and the patty is Big -- at least two inches thick. The grilled cheese was delicious and they make a great, fresh cole slaw. I ordered the food to go, but the dining areas looked clean and inviting, and they have a beautifully decorated bar in the center of the restaurant. I was chatting with a local patron who told me they make a trip over here every weekend to enjoy their signature margaritas...."that are to die for". I didn't get her name, but my server was welcoming, and extremely patient with me as I asked her about the various items on the menu I was curious about. My receipt had the name Baily written at the top, and the management should know what a terrific representative she is for your restaurant. I can recommend this Applebee's to anyone looking for a restaurant that's friendly, with cozy ambiance, terrific food, and fair prices. Bring your family -- 10 star rating here for sure!
It took 2 hours to get our food. Our food finally came and some of it came cold. My daughters had a hair in it. We sent that back and she just didn't eat. Had to get her fast food after this 2 hour wait. There were 2 older people making out at the door. It was gross. Our waitress was super nice and friendly. She brought us chips and salsa since we had to wait so long. Appreciated her.
Nice and cool lunch-109° outside. Raspberry tea was cool and tasted great. Got the two-fer meal Music was weird…Food: 5/5
Took an emergency trip up to Redding to purchase a Killbalter Highslinger set up with a full recovery, and a secondary unit already attached and most importantly the damn thing works! Applebee's was right there across from where I met Arbuckle Berrybottom, the seller of the Highslinger, so after the deal I went across the street and had a wonderful dinner. Applebee's always puts out delicious food no matter which location, always a 5 star joint
Service was great, the food tasted really good and it might have tasted better with everything that was supposed to be on them. My wife got the Strawberry Balsamic Chicken salad and it came with no Strawberries. They did go back and bring some Strawberries out for her to put on. I ordered the Chicken Quesadilla Crunch salad and I'm assuming that the crunch was the tortilla strips that were advertised to be on it that was not on mine. I know, no big deal, but still not that hard to get right. But again the food tasted great so not all bad.
We ordered the 5 dollar apps that were advertised as 5 dollars. I was not charged $5 . They were all different prices. My husband food never came, nor did his coffee. Then I got the bill and was charged for it. They need to get their stuff together.Food: 4/5
Never had a real problem at Applebee's, but today a bartender/server gave me a lengthy dissertation on how people of low income and/or a realistic approach to tipping should just "buy some chicken nuggets and a bottle and just keep their butts at home" AFTER giving her a 20% tip. My wife loves Applebee's, and the food's not too bad, so I have no intention of stopping going there. In fact, we've decided to go even more often. And every time, after paying the check, we will be telling the waitress exactly who and why caused us to NEVER tip at the Red Bluff Applebee's again until that vicious and unprofessional server no longer works there. It's sad when one total dirtbag has to go and ruin things for everybody.
Well the waiter pretty much threw our straws at us. Not real friendly and I dont know why we keep going back because the service not good. Some of the people make you feel like you are bothering them and half the time they forget something you ask for. I think I'm done after this visit.Food: 3/5

Didn't actually get to order. Spent a few minutes looking at the menu and discovered that I was going to have to pay $20-30 plus a 2% convenience fee to eat USDA Select essentially dairy cow steaks. I don't expect Prime or even high grade Choice from Applebee's, but that's completely ridiculous.Food: 2/5
