I have not been to a restaurant since December 2021 but decided to get out a little last weekend. Got there around 3pm and there was just one other group of diners, so the restaurant was quiet and very clean. Servers were super polite and quick as well. Loved the food! The Mongolian chicken was excellent, I loved the amount of veggies included and the halibut itself was great- but for me the sauce was just too sweet. If you're a chocolate lover, the chocolate cake was deliciously rich and slice was reasonable to not be overwhelming. Overall great dining experience-definitely plan to return : Features: Servers and greeters wear face masks.
I’ve been to the Forest Hills branch and I must say this branch is way better. I still have to try the one is Hewlett but this place is more spacious and the food is much better too! I came here with my family for lunch and the service is amazing! My parents are quite picky when it comes to food but they really loved it here! I’d definitely would come back here!
Great food and drinks! Pricier than I like but a great experience. A friend and I went after work and loved it! We need to go back during happy hour. The kani salad was complemented with some crunch maybe tempora? and lettuce, different from what I'm used to but I enjoyed it. And the spicy Thai lemongrass soup was just what I needed because I was feeling a little chilly. I also had the combo dinner sushi and it all tasted fresh and good. They had so many great looking options that I need to go back. Overall, great experience!
Great experience. Excellent food. Awesome sound proof private room. Easy parking. The service was good but could use slight improvement. Will definitely be back!
I had a party set for 21 people. They only had 1 waiter for all of us..they should've had more..besides that..food was amazing. Wonderful service. Great drinks.
MoCA in Forest Hills has been my go to since high school but I had to check out their Woodbury location. Their dining room is stunning with booths separated by tall bamboo dividers. Moca’s pan-Asian menu encompasses dishes from Japan, China, Korea, Thailand and Malaysia. We tried selections from both the sushi bar and the kitchen. Their VIP karaoke rooms are a plus and the Lazy Susans in there added to the presentation. Moca’s hospitality was top notch. It was a cold afternoon. They offered green tea and miso soup. Their shrimp dumplings, sweet teriyaki salmon and the pad Thai were my favorite! It was my first time trying Sashimi and it was a very unique taste. Of course I had to try it at Moca. I enjoyed the sushi and Nutella bomb dessert which was chef recommended!
It is a beautiful restaurant and awesome sushi. I would recommend this restaurant anytime for anyone. Yummy
Amazing cocktails, pear tree martini was absolutely delicious!!! Loved the pad thai and the shrimp tempura roll as well. Service was on point! Highly recommend it for a nice dinner
I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. My Mom and I dined here for the first time today and everything was nothing short of amazing... The food, the drinks, the service, the ambience... We are very impressed and highly recommend this hidden gem. We will definitely be coming back!
High end Asian Fusion.....that comes with a price tag. This is a beautiful space with delicious food and a beautiful ambiance. This place had great cocktails and food. In addition, there was wonderful live music tonight by the very talented Lydia von Hof. There were lots of choices on the menu. Maybe too many covering Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Korean and Thai.....I really enjoyed my Sashimi and Short Ribs. In addition, my family loved the Pad Thai, Seasame Chicken, Avocado Salad, Chicken Dumplings and Roasted Peppers. Our waiter Jason was patient and provided nice recommendations. We will definitely come back!
