My husband was tested for sleep apnea through Kaiser and diagnosed as "Severe" - he was referred to Apria for APAP equipment. He received a mask that only covered is nose although he breathes through his mouth, and he couldn't get comfortable using the mask so he called Apria. The woman he spoke with was very helpful, suggested a full face mask and gave some details about it, and told him it would be shipped immediately. Ten days later it had not arrived nor had there been any shipment notification so he called to inquire the status. The representative told him that no mask had been ordered or shipped, and there was no record of his phone call although there was a record of previous calls. This rep directed him to a website with a variety of masks and told him to just pick one although he had no idea which would be best for him. Finally she suggested an Airfit so he chose one of those models and now we are waiting for that to ship, and have to wait another 7 to 10 days. Expedited shipping was not offered in spite of the issues and that he's gone over a month since diagnosis with a life threatening condition. I give overall service 1 star, the extra star was for the effort made by the mystery rep who was helpful on the phone then erased from Apria's memory.
It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had to deal with. I had to call several times because the 1st person I spoke with put my information wrong and thays where the nightmare began. I was overcharged. I was to my insurance is covering 55 percent of my cost. My insurance paid 175, yet I was charged 360$. The amounts don't add up. Idk if this is a scam between Apria and Kaiser, or just Apria.i had to call several times before someone could help me. I left a message aprior to that and never got a response from anyone. I would appreciate for someone to call me backto explain the charges
I just got off the phone with Apria Health care. I have an authorization for a knee scooter, due to a broken foot, but Apria is not able to process the order for 7-10 business days! Are you kidding me?! What kind of service is that? My job requires a lot of walking and I can't afford to take more time off! I'm furious! Our experience with Apria healthcare continues to be poor. If I had a choice they would be the last place I would go to for dme equipment. Unfortunately, I have no control over who my insurance uses. Horrible service!
Apria never informed me that a wheel chair was a rental they being charging me from Jan to this date aug.they suppost to pick up the wheel chair for weeks and .they haven't .but they expect me to pay for the monthly rent which I refuse, because they never informed me correctly. I will not recommend this company at all. Everything I called they are very rude.

You pay in full and return the device to them - you are bombarded with bills with a hundred dollars as a debtor. You call billing. They recognize that you are not a debtor. But bills and spam still going on the phone and mail. You arrive at the office, you are sent to call the billing. You call again and again receive spam and ever-increasing bills. And so - for months! A wonderful business of machine guns to count you in the grave and ruin your health!
I was referred to them for a breast pump and the first time I talked to them I asked what breast pumps would be available to me because I wanted to know if it would be easier for me to just pay out of pocket for what I actually wanted. I was told they couldn't tell me what options were available until after they received the authorization. Well weeks later I have to call them just to be told there is only one breast pump in stock, 95 dollar copay, and they don't ship it I have to drive out to get it. The breast pump being offered has almost no reviews online, never heard of it, can't find any information. I call my insurance to complain and they said that several main brands are 100% covered by my plan, I shouldnt have to drive to pick up my pump, and that the medical supply company should have communicated better. Very disappointing company that could have saved me weeks of trying to get the go ahead to order a pump if they were honest about having extremely limited stock when I asked what types of pumps were available. Good thing I started this process over a month before my due date. If this company gives you a hard time go back to your doctor and insurance and complain about limited supplies they will find a way to get you better options.
The worst service. It’s a pretty simple job they just can’t do. Order came demanding a signature, wasn’t there , had no idea. The delivery was returned to sender, Apria, they can’t find it now. Also to blame is FED eX . They are supposed to try to redelivery but didn’t . Fedex When it absolutely positively has to get lost from A to B.
The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I've called 7 times regarding billing issues. I was hung up on 4 times, once even by a supervisor. No one has any answers to anything. They bill me for things that the insurance should be billed for. Even after I discontinued automatic payments they continued to use my card without my permission. They put you on hold for hours at a time and as soon as 5pm hits they hang up on you regardless of how long you've been on hold. No one ever calls you back. HORRIBLE service. They do not deserve any stars at all. The worst billing service I have ever encountered in my life
The delivery person came to my house and assembled a hospital bed. I offered to give him a blanket to protect my wood floor from the metal bed. He didn’t indicate any need for a blanket, assembled the bed, scratched the floor, explained how the bed worked and left. Now I have a scratched floor and pretty much the cheapest hospital bed available. Apria has not been responsive. I guess these people need to be micromanaged.
