Arciuolo's Shoes is a family-owned and -operated shoe store located in the heart of downtown Milford. Founded by Francesco Arciuolo in 1921, we specialize in providing quality, supportive footwear for the entire family and continue to serve our loyal customers in the same tradition as our great grandfather over 90 years ago. We carry an incredibly diverse variety of footwear for men, women, and especially children, and our quality shoes, boots, sandals, and sneakers are the perfect marriage between fashion and performance. My wife and I visited Arciuolo’s Shoes for the first time a few weeks ago. We were in search for some new shoes for my 2 year old son Crew. Matt the owner is incredibly knowledgeable and is dedicated to his profession. The staff was friendly and inviting. My son was a little distracted by the toddler play area they have set up. Such a great idea if you are a parent and want a little free time to get some new shoes. Matt stands behind every suggestion and “ Won’t let you leave the store if he doesn’t think it’s the right shoe for you “ We bought 2 pairs of Tsukihoshi shoes for my son and he loves them. No more taking them off 2 seconds into a car ride. Thank you !!
A beautiful family owned store that does so much more than just ring you out at a register. They will curate a proper fit and give you knowledgeable help on products that will actually improve your quality of life. 10/10 recommend you stop by for your next pair of shoes.
Matt, the owner, was fabulous! My other half and I came in for a nice pair of “tennis shoes” but we realized after we were just looking for a pair of sneakers. I’ve never experienced this type of service, he fitted me and recommended the best shoe. Thank you Matt and team for also recommending us a few local spots to visit on our trip. We appreciate everything.
Never got shoes here but their social media game is killing it ! Follow them on Instagram and you will laugh for days ! When I’m in the area I’m definitely going to stop in !
Wonderful place to buy new sneakers. The whole crew is very knowledgeable, don't pressure you to pick something you won't enjoy overtime. Love the store, very clean and quite, always will be going back for my new orthopedics sneakers. Since I got my new pair, I stopped limping, and my pain, disappeared. Thank you, so very much Matt.
By far the best expierence buying shoes for my 5 year old son! They measured his foot and found the perfect shoes. Everyone was very nice but Matt went above and beyond to make sure my son was comfortable. I highly recommend Arciuolo's!
I just recently stopped by Arcioulo's Shoes for the first time. I am very happy I did, Matt the owner was very helpful, professional & very knowledgeable. Great friendly & helpful staff tooMatt fitted me for my new custom FootStar orthotics. I have used custom orthotics before for most of my adult life.These FootStar orthotics are a better designed orthotic to address your particular needs and issues. I also purchased new sneakers/sandals as well. So far I am very pleased with my purchases. Keep in mind, of course you have to allow a reasonable amount of time for your feet to adapt to your new orthotics. Remember in the long run, It's all well worth the time & the expense, proper footwear is the key to everything. My 90 year old mother & younger sister purchased their shoes at Arciuolo's, they both are very happy customer's as well. GREAT SELECTION OF FOOTWEAR Made in America
My wife and I spent over $1500 on custom insoles here. We did alot of research and asked very clear questions at Arcioulo's. After frustration with a podiatrist, my visit to this shoe store was intelligent and along with quite good references/ reviews. We were convinced with some confident and what seemed sound promises. My requirements were challenging but I was very candid and they felt quite up to task. Initially, it seemed that the promise to pay attention to my most prominent foot issue was not addressed. An explanation of strategy or method of the product to address my issue was cited. Of coarse after break in an employee made modification to the first insole which was more in line with my original request. I wear it but its not comfortable overall. The carbon fiber insole became actually painful after breakin so as could not be worn for more than an hour or two. The boss himself made the modification with what seemed to be a standard bench grinder as to the non precise manner: addtionally removing material not where the problem was occurring. This hack job was not the caliber of what all seemed and ruined the insole making the pressure point even worse by removing adjacent support around the hotspot. This 15 minutes of time wasn't patronistic enough when a second visit gave me about 5 minutes for him to write me off for excessive complaining. I expect more from a licence professional selling custom , i repeat custom insoles. Especially for the money we paid more than 20 minutes of time. Forget about some guarantee for that hack job either to replace the insole or a refund.
Matthew & his staff are as courteous and professional as they come. His patience and ability to solve a wide array of foot and ankle issues, along with his state of the art equipment, make this the only place to go in Connecticut for custom orthotics, shoes, or sneakers. He has worked diligently to resolve my family's difficult podiatric issues & did not stop until all our issues were resolved. He is the " Yoda " of his craft.
