I'm sad these two cubs are moving on to a new home! They were so playful. The tunnel gets VERY loud and crowded so if you or your kids get overstimulated easily, maybe not the best place, but it is beautiful when you catch the animals in action. I miss the ice wall though! It's such a nice place! Staff is very helpful and polite. The food was good, I'm my opinion. Was a good day trip for my girlfriend and I. The butterfly and bird buildings are beautiful, The architecture of these buildings is indicative of the time period they were constructed.

I haven't been to the Detroit Zoo in Years but the polar bear were extremely cute And its cost Some $ If u Eat at all there Concession Stands one hat cost 13teen dollars, and the sluggish's cost 9 dollars And I didn't have enough time before it closed to ride the train but that Long walk and seeing all the animals were worth it my Granddaughters Loved it
There were no polar bears!! Supposedly being moved, wish we had been notified instead of spending $25 per person and wasting one of my sons days home on leave from the army to see nothing, there were a lot of the exhibits that were "closed due to rehabilitation" call ahead, don't waste your time and money
