Armonk Volunteer Fire Department
For over 80 years, the Armonk Fire Department has been serving our community responding to both fire and medical emergencies. We receive approximately 900 calls per year, with about half being fire and half being EMS. All of our members, Chiefs, company officers, firefighters EMT's and commissioners are volunteers. Besides responding to calls, our volunteer members also attend weekly cleanups, monthly meetings, drills and training. We are a visible presence at all public events in Armonk and host a fire and EMS open house twice a year at the firehouse.
If you call 911 from Armonk and say you smell smoke, see fire, have had an accident or don’t feel well, that you’ve been injured or that your smoke or CO alarm is sounding, we will investigate and provide the necessary assistance.
Anyone who lives or works in Armonk can join. We welcome people of any age interested in becoming firefighters or EMT’s. We provide all the training. Come see what we do any Monday at 7:00pm. We look forward to meeting you.
It is the mission of the Armonk Fire Department to provide the highest quality of Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services to the citizens of the Town of North Castle and its visitors.
We shall accomplish this through our dedicated volunteer professionals who are committed to team work, continuous improvement through education, and maintaining the highest level of training available.
