North White Plains FD is a 100% volunteer fire department in the south district of the Town of North Castle.
The North White Plains Fire Company No. 1 is a 100% volunteer fire company serving the North Castle South Fire District 1. The fire company, established in 1912, consists of members from North White Plains, Valhalla, White Plains, and other neighboring communities. Many of the volunteers work and live close in proximity to the firehouse, providing fire protection and emergency response coverage to the community when needed.
