Dan is a great guy. This store has been here since the early 90s and even though I was a punk kid in high school Dan has always shown me respect. He has a great sekection on knives cool displays and is a veteran. Dan is the man who taught me how to interview for a job and I landed every single job I've ever had with his tips! Truly a really good man. Dan really did have a positive impact on a negative naive troubled kid I just never told him. Thanks Dan for your kindness throughout the years dark and light.

Purchased a jacket here 30 years ago, best jacket I have ever had. Still wear it. Owner is very proper.

Great place to buy anything you require for camping or just any type of army surplus. Owner is also a great man, has some amazing stories. Would definitely visit this place again!

Great little surplus store. I've been going here for years for odds and ends. They may be tiny, but they have a pretty good selection, especially when it comes to clothing, tactical gear, and knives. You will find random odds and ends that you didn't know you needed, too. The guy and his wife that run the place are extremely pleasant and always helpful and willing to take time out for you.

Staff very friendly, was able to get just what I wanted. This store is not like our stores in Manteca can. Pick up some great gifts. A plus to drive to if you are in the Simi Valley can. The surplus is a five + store.

Really enjoy my visits and great conversations with Dan. I have bought knives,hats,belts,and great jackets for great prices. One of the few stores I enjoy browsing through.

Shop owner is ALWAYS a HUGE help. Great service, great prices, and never minds taking the extra tie to answer a few questions. I've gone there multiple times for different items, and don't see that changing in the near or distant future!!
