Art at Penn Place Gallery
Co-chairs: Vickie Baily and Suzi Gifford
Welcome! The historic town of Garrett Park is such a great place to live, and among its many charms is the Art at Penn Place Gallery, located on the second floor of the historic Penn Place building, also home to the Post Office and Black Market Bistro. The purpose of the Gallery is to provide a vibrant venue in which local artists can display their work, and also to provide an enjoyable gallery experience for Garrett Park residents and visitors. Exhibitions in a variety of media rotate every month, artwork is original and available for purchase, exhibit receptions provide fun opportunities to mingle with the artists and your neighbors, and admission is free!
Exhibition selection and scheduling preference is given to artists who are current and former residents of Garrett Park. However, our Annual Garrett Park Juried Invitational Show, held in April, is open to all artists, 18 and over, who live in Montgomery County, and we also offer an Annual Youth Show for local young artists.
A committee appointed by the Mayor of Garrett Park is responsible for managing the Gallery. For information about scheduling a solo show, or submitting an entry for the annual Invitational and Youth Shows, please use the message link at the top of this page and one of our Co-Chairs will contact you as soon as possible.
