I LOVE Arthur's Shoe Tree! Jeff and Rosie are kind, thoughtful, attentive and generally good people. Jeff is so knowledgeable about shoes and really puts forth a ton of effort to make sure you're walking out of the shop happy. He's helped my extremely picky girls pick out shoes on more than one occasion and has always done it with patience. Even after having to head into the back room a dozen times. We love the entire staff at Arthur's. Thank you for providing SERVICE and not just selling a product. That concept seems to be a lost art but Jeff and Rosie do it well. Thank you.
My son has that in between, impossible to find 7.5. I needed a dress shoe and we had to go up a size because of availability. We found a really nice Rockport that Jeff and his staff were able to adjust so they were comfortable and not falling off his feet. It worked out beautifully. They were comfortable all night when he wore them. As his foot grows, we can remove some of the padding. I'm so grateful for everyone there, that they will literally exhaust all options for you. That kind of service is unheard of anymore!
Excellent customer experience with Pam 1st, via phone call, who educated me about possible shoe options and other resources available in store, and enthusiastically invited me to come in. Know you matter when you go on Jeff, owner, was equally helpful and did foot assessment on the machine in store. I complimented Jeff about my initial phone contact with Pam. It is hugely important to share affirmations/compliments to management everywhere especially in this day & time. Pam is personable, courteous, patient, knowledgeable, caring, very engaged with my specific foot concerns, and provided many shoe options accordingly.
Why would you go to an online store to buy shoes when this gem exists??? I love this place! I was fortunate enough to be helped out by one of the owners who KNOWS SHOES. I went in for a pair of dress shoes and also left with some Hey Dudes. If you don’t own a pair of these, you’re insane. Also, this is the best place to take kids to get shoes!!! I noticed they were in the back playing Marwins game.
Found shoes for my daughter there that we’ve been searching all over for her size!! They have the best customer service - just like I remember growing up :. Jeff was so very nice and helpful in a return as well. Thank you so much!
Selection is pretty limited, though the staff made up for that by being super friendly and knowledgable. And although they didn’t have my size, I was happy to be supporting a local business as they were supposedly ordering a pair of shoes for me. However, when I called two weeks later they said the order never got put in, and now it’s two weeks after that and still nothing. So if you’re in the neighborhood and they have what you need in store, great. But I wouldn’t make a special trip, and if they don’t have what you need in stock either go elsewhere or buy it yourself online. I found what I needed at another local spot, so there are other options available in the area.
Never thought that I would be giving comments about a shopping experience. For well over 20 years I have had the good fortune to shop at Arthur's Shoe Tree primarily with the previous owner, Jerry. I dared to venture into Bay Village this week in search of quality shoes which Arthur's has been known to offer their customers. I had searched several styles prior to making my appointment with Jeff and when I entered the store Jeff immediately greeted me and his sales skills took over. Saying that i was impressed doesn't begin to tell the level of customer service that i received. Jeff took the time to make sure I was getting the exact shoes to meet my specific needs and he comes from the back room with about 12 offerings! That's impressive as he said we would find the exact shoes for me to purchase. He did his job above and beyond and if individuals would just be able to witness his customer service style and how he cares more about the customer. As you probably know, I am a VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER. Great Job!! and yes, he made the sale!
I have been coming to Arthur's Shoe Tree now for about a year. I have purchased shoes for both myself and my son who was 14 months when we first went. Every single employee has been very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. The shoes are very good quality. During my last visit, I had the opportunity to interact with Rosie. She did such a wonderful job interacting and assisting with selecting my son's shoes. I highly recommend this shoe store and will be returning.
The staff is very knowledgeable, attentive, helpful, and awesome with young children. They have a wonderful selection and will order shoes for you if need be. On my last visit the staff steered me to the sale shoes instead of just showing me the full price offerings. I was greatly appreciative!! This is the only place that I have bought shoes for my son and I will continue to do so for years to come. Thank you Arthur’s staff for being so amazing!!
I took my two year old daughter here to be fitted for tennis shoes. We ended up purchasing snow boots as well. The staff was so kind and patient with my daughter. They made sure that the shoes were just big enough that she wouldn't outgrow them too quickly, but comfortable enough now. My daughter is in love with her new snow boots. I would highly recommend Arthur's Shoe Tree!
