This is such an interesting place. It was an old firehouse. Unfortunately, I haven't seen the pole firefighters would slide down if it existed at the time this place was operational. Perhaps it was removed to keep people like me from hurting themselves. Great place for art shows and other creative displays music and readings. Within walking distance of restaurants and bars.
Their Spring Break day camp for kids was amazing. They partnered with The Spanish Class and had language, drama, art, and dance class every day. The teachers and volunteers were fabulous. My child loved it and we were very impressed at their sharing session at the end of camp.
The Arts Council provides diverse entertaining outlets for artists as well as a venue to showcase talent. The art gallery on the second floor changes artists frequently so catch as many shows as you can. The museum downstairs offers information about equipment used by firefighters from long ago.
The ambience is perfect and so is the floor space for whatever you may need it for. e.g. party with tables and room for dancing. 50 ppl comfortably
A great venue for local artists. They're involved in many community projects. If you're a local artist and want to show your work or participate in performance art, call them!
I visited the Art Council of Greater today. My art exhibition and others. I love the gallery so much!
Was invited to an event for health and wellness. It was up some stairs but that was okay but it is large and spacious and clean.
I'm a dancer and a gym rat. The health expo with trainer Dandre Guerin was all that. He's the best.
It has a very nice small meeting roomon the first floor
I will be a member in the near future. It was an amazing experience!
