Arts & Crofts is comprised of the married couple, Andrew & Patricia Croft. Through AmeriCorps, they uprooted themselves from Rhode Island in October, 2009 to recreate a life in Wheeling, WV. They soon fell in love with the beautiful surrounding and welcoming community and in June, 2010 started a business doing what they love most; art. Their artistic eye and friendly persona allow them to create fine art as well as offer other professional creative services including, but not limited to, photography, artist prints, murals, and commissions.
Andrew, a freelance photographer with an eye for detail, lines, and composition was born and raised in West Warwick, RI. Andrew is currently a board member on the Wheeling Arts Commission and a permanent fixture at Artworks Around Town Gallery. He has shown in several juried exhibitions in the Wheeling and Pittsburgh areas.
Patricia holds a BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design. She has completed numerous murals and commissions and exhibited in Pittsburgh, Wheeling, as well as multiple venues in RI. Included in her repertoire are a variety of miscellaneous crafts (such as recycling old t-shirts into rugs, bags, ponchos, wine holders, etc.), murals, and crocheting. She currently the art education teacher at Bridgeport High School.
