Infusing the arts into life in downtown Somerville.
The goal of the Somerville Arts Initiative is to create an arts district (and program) centered on Division Street and ultimately linking Main Street to the Station Area with public spaces and a variety of arts venues that will build Somerville’s reputation as an ‘arts destination’.
The Somerville Arts Initiative is a coalition of business leaders; local, regional and state government; arts organizations; and interested individuals are working together to infuse the arts into life in downtown Somerville and to use the arts as a tool to build economic growth, and cultural diversity.
