Asheville School Mountaineering is the Outdoor Program for Asheville School, the South's premier college prep co-ed boarding school located in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
In its fundamental form, the Mountaineering Program at Asheville School is intended to foster a love and respect for nature, a sense of self-worth and confidence, the ability to work with others, and a mastery of the skills & fitness (mental and physical) necessary for safely pursuing outdoor adventures.
