The Asian Pacific Resource Center (APRC) was established in 1979. This special collection of LA County Library is located in Rosemead Library.
The Asian Pacific Resource Center (APRC) was created to serve the information needs of the richly diverse Asian and Pacific Islander communities of Los Angeles County.
Materials are available in English, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Japanese. The emphasis of English language materials is on the Asian/Pacific Islander American experience.
The APRC hosts programs and exhibits to celebrate the cultural heritage of Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans. The Center also provides specialized reference assistance and referral services to assist in locating resources that address the needs of Asian/Pacific Islander communities.
