Drove an hour to the Barre Vt location. They did the initial x-rays and exam, it was decided to have a tooth extracted. They were able to fit me in for the procedure later on this same day. The Dr. And her hygenists and assistants were phenomenal. I will be scheduling follow ups and continuing care with the location closer to home. I would absolutely recommend Aspen to anyone looking for dental care.
For over 6 months I have been trying to get Aspen Dental to bill my insurance company properly so I can be refunded by Metlife. I have called more than 10 times on this issue and have been on 3, 3way calls with their office and my insurance company and it is still not solved. I feel I have been treated rudely by the office staff when I have called. They make it out like it is my fault? They have dropped the ball. Funny when they wanted their money they got it! Well over 2k, but no interest in doing their job so I can get reimbursed. I Dr's & Assistant's were great at their job.
Overall very nice, the staff were kind and understanding. My appointment was to see what I needed to get done. They covered all nessicary concerns and even others not related to this particular visit. Gave referrals and financing that's affordable to me. Bless the woman who checked me out and answered all my questions there was alot cause I was completely uneducated on the financing. Very helpful, looking forward to going back. I would recommend aspen to anyone especially if you have a fear of going to the dentist first impressions are everything and they aced all my expectations.
Every time I come to Aspen I leave happy. My appointment said 10 and they saw me right away with no wait. As someone that gets anxious at the dentist being quick and efficient without all the waiting around is super helpful. All the staff at this location were great and very patient with me.
I called Aspen after a bad experience at a different dentist. The man on the phone was so kind and helped me schedule an appointment and encouraged me to go to the walk in clinic because of my pain. I went to the clinic and was able to get great advice from Sarah I think that was her name. I scheduled an appointment for February and so happy to have finally found a female dentist after bad experiences with male dentists
My husband has not had a dental appointment in the past two years due to Aspen Dental Berlin rescheduling/cancelling his appointment 4 times in a row. Aspen is one of the only providers in the state that take our insurance, so he has tried to stay with them, but they have refused to provide him with proper dental care. It is a mystery as to why they are cancelling the appointments, and they schedule the next appointment for 6 months out, which is absolutely ridiculous. We are extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with our experience at Aspen Dental Berlin.
Arrived around 4:50 for my appointment made at 5 PM. I had to complete my forms and medical in take forms. It wasn't until 5:20 when they called me back just to tell me I needed to reschedule as I didn't have any x-rays. I was told that they tried contacting me even though I got text confirmations to let me know they need x-rays before attending my appointment. I had to take off work to get to the appointment. I am very disappointed that I had to take off work just for them to turn me away. I asked if I could just get them taken as I was already there and they said no. The staff aren't horrible- but also wouldn't take accountability for the inconvenience. Just trying to find a new dentist in the area and it's safe to say Aspen certainly did not meet my expectations. Side note: they did confirm I had another phone number on the account and they said they tried calling, but that's not my number. Why would I get a text confirmation to confirm the appointment but not a call from them?
Mr. Fontana I have always prided myself on taking care of my teeth so when the Barre/ Berlin VT agreed to see me after a short trip to Florida I was grateful. My tooth started to ache on January 24th while in Florida. It was unbearable. On my way home from the NH airport to VT I phoned Aspen Dental on January 30th. I was given an appointment for the next morning. I was told that the first appointment was free. I was told by the doctor there that I needed a crown and root canal on the painful tooth. Other work was also planned. I left knowing an antibiotic was being called into my pharmacy. I paid my bill in full that day. I had to ask for it. No other paperwork was given to me. No other instructions. I started the antibiotic that day. Nothing touch the tooth pain that your employee assured me the antibiotic would. I called on Friday, February 3rd to discuss this. I received a complete dressing down from "Bianca" and was told that I should have called the day before. She said " no doctors in on Friday and did I know what that meant?" I said " certainly do". She said call back on Monday. Bianca is a very snarky mean spirited person. I observed that in her interactions with other customers. By Saturday February 4th I am running a temperature of 103.5. I am very ill. I was taken to the ER for almost 4 hrs. I was lucky that I got to go home but would have been fine with being admitted. At the ER I had many blood tests which showed elevated white cell counts, high temperature, blood pressure and heart rate. I also had a heart monitor placed, CT scans, Xrays and other tests. I did not have covid or the flu. In the end the only definitive infection found in my body was my tooth. I was instructed by the ER to contact Aspen Dental first thing Monday. I left them a message yesterday. They didn't phone me. I called over an hr ago and was told they couldn't help me. So I fired Aspen Dental. Finding emergency dental care in this small state has proved to be hard. Those I called were appalled but had no openings for months. I listened to your messages about your goals as a healthcare provider. I have read your mission statement. I have read many reviews left by people who have unacceptable experiences with Aspen. Vermont is a small state. This retired Attorney expected to be treated with dignity. Aspen Dental's one and only appointment needs to be free per your employees. My money needs to be refunded in 3 days. No money should be taken from my insurance company. Let us hope that someone sees me soon. Sepsis is a real concern. I am hoping you assist in this. I can be very quiet but haven't eaten for 5 days and now owe a hospital thousands of dollars. I am hoping I don't need to reach out to my legal colleagues. Words spread quickly in a small town. Please talk with Barre/ Berlin Aspen Dental. Thank you. Donna Blight
I paid for the exam and X-rays. They wanted 13,000 to fix everything. My local doctor said he can do the extractions under my insurance but Aspen has not sent over my X-rays even with the release and my calling them repeatedly and them telling me they were sending them then
Had an appointment for tomorrow. Received a call today from the office. Not sure who I spoke with. When I made my initial call i was told one of the insurances I had would cover the procedures I wanted done. And others if it didn't, I would pay cash. Today the call I got, was totally opposite. She was very rude. Said everything I wanted done was going to be out of pocket starting at 350 to 1900. Basically trying to talk me out of the appointment before even my first visit there. I had high hopes after reading the reviews. Very disappointed. If she wasn't so rude and I could see that she didn't want my business I gladly would have paid the prices.
