Assisting Hands Home Care is truly the highest standard of care, compassion and customer service that I have ever experienced in this industry. From my very first call, Marina took the time to listen to my story. She understood the hardships being experienced by my father as he cares for my mother who has dementia. She asked great questions to better understand the type of care taker that would be a great fit for them. She came to their home to interview them and see what type of daily care is needed. Her time, efforts, and the high standards of employment screening of AH, has delivered the most perfect and amazing caregiver. Carmen is an absolute Angel! We consider her to be part of our family after only a few weeks of her coming to help a few days per week. Carmen is motivated, kind, patient, always happy and cheerful. She is eager to help with the daily tasks such as cooking, light housekeeping, and making sure mom can get dressed, bathed etc... She is a perfect fit for my mom and she truly does help to ease her anxiety, and bring order to their home and daily routine. Thank you Marina for all that you have done and continue to do! I would recommend Assisting Hands 100% to anyone in a difficult situation who needs a reliable, honest and compassionate care giver. We truly couldn't be happier!
I highly recommend Assisting Hands Home Care. Our Home Care facilitator, Verna and the owner/administrator, Marina, quickly worked with me an my family to obtain experienced 24 hour home health care aides to facilitate my husband's hospital discharge. The team is professional and experienced. Most importantly, the communication, care, and support from the facilitator is always prompt, professional, and responsive to our needs as they change. We continue work with Assisting Hands as needed and receive the same quality of support and communication. Assisting Hands will be there when you need them!
They were incredibly helpful and patient with my father and our family! The aide that was sent was very professional and Assisting Hands was flexible as we had to keep an aide in our home for a few extra days past the contracted date due to unforeseen circumstances. A tremendous resource to my father in his last days.

The aides are also caring and compassionate, going well above and beyond what you might expect or even hope for! Assisting Hands helped us in a time of dire need for overnight nursing care for my mother. Released from a rehabilitation hospital, she needed overnight assistance immediately, and Assisting Hands was a Godsend. The office manager, Verna, was so caring and thoughtful, she walked us through the process and provided us with a wonderful caretaker, Cassandra. My mother immediately felt comfort in knowing someone was there for her medical needs, and Cassandra took great care of my mother. With Assisting Hands help, my mother recovered quickly in the comfort of her own home. Should the need arise again, Assisting Hands will be our first phone call.
When my father passed unexpectedly last June, my mother, who had been married to him for sixty years, not only lost her life-long companion but her care giver as well. Mom struggled to walk and bathe due to back problems and had trouble keeping track of her medications. She could no longer drive and had many appointments. I was living in Charlotte NC at the time and knew immediately she would need in-home care. Assisting Hands was able to quickly assess my mother’s needs and put in place care high quality care givers on a schedule she required. Not only were they well trained, they were great companions to my mother as well. Each is able to take her to her appointments, cook and serve her meals, help her bathe and dress, and handle household chores. This allows my mother to conserve her strength and her care givers walk outside with her each day. The peace of mind this has given me in this trying time has been priceless. I know my mother is in good hands and has able to stay in her home during this very difficult transition and during a scary time with COVID-19. Assisting Hands has a nurse that is able to handle all the medicine to ensure my mother gets the right dose of all her prescriptions at the right time. Marina, the owner, is always just a phone call away and ready to help. I cannot recommend Assisting Hands highly enough if you have a loved one who needs customized in-home care.
Assisting Hands provided my mother-in-law with excellent care. The staff and management were very involved, professional and caring. We used the service for approximately two months and would not hesitate recommending them. Marina, the owner, was very involved and made sure our needs were met.
