At the center of Denver’s Floral Industry since the very early 1900’s has been Associated Wholesale Florist (Denver’s oldest Wholesale Florist). In the beginning this is the company that area farmers would bring freshly cut carnations and flowers to be sold to professional florists. First by horse and carriage and then by automobile Associated Wholesale Florists was the hub of floristry. The company utilized cold storage rooms where ice would cool the flowers.
Over the years Associated modernized and moved to it’s current home on West Mississippi Avenue. Today you’ll find a vast selection of fresh cut flowers imported from all over the world. We still sell locally grown Colorado flowers and all the staples.
