I had their bread and a slice of cake. The Opera cake was fine, delicious but not outstanding. However, I recommend their croissant and bagel! So what happen to the ‍croissant? Call the chef out! It was suuuuperrrrrr delicious! So flaky and crispy outside, while the inner part was so soft, springy, and moist. How come you only open a store in Astoria? The bagel was good too! After heated up, it had soft and chewy texture with a crispy edge. Cinnamon roll was ok, I would not recommend but nothing wrong with it.

It was ok , was disappointed that they didn’t know if the cookies have Pine nut , they should know !!!

Nice place to sit down outside and enjoy a beverage and conversation. Both the counter girls were very nice to me and were very helpful with both my coffee and the WiFi. The food looks really good, but I did not partake. Ample outdoor seating; only a few seats inside.

Cute neighborhood bakery. They have cakes, cupcakes and coffee including frappé. Nice staff and cozy feel. Unfortunately the cupcakes I got were not very fresh and the cream wasn’t creamy. The frappé and cream puffs were delicious though!

Reaching out today with some constructive criticism. I love and am a multi day a week customer at Astoria Bakery. It's one of my favorite things about our neighborhood. But on my last visit I saw that in order to accommodate new credit card fees you have lowered the recommended tips on your machine, with the highest being 7% vs 22% before. I'm extremely disappointed with this decision. Even if you have new overhead costs, it's extremely unfair for that to impact the potential tips of your warm and hard working staff. Please consider raising prices or adjusting system settings more compassionately. Thank you.

Thank heaven for this place! Honestly there are no deli’s in this area for quality service, food and decent coffee. Bakers Cafe offers that and more! Right now their lunch special is $7 for rice, beans and rotisserie chicken. Amazing. Great coffee options and the owner is incredibly nice.

Really great cookies. I’m addicted. Their rainbow cookies with jam and with cannoli cream are fantastic. I usually dislike cannoli cream but this was well done. Counter person was also really sweet. I will be coming back for more cookies. My toddler son ate all of his sugar cookie which was gifted by the bakery. Toddler approved so I’m all for them!

I have going to the Astoria Bakery for some time now. This shop is exactly what I want when I think of true Italian lobster claws. The Astoria bakery is a family owned business that creates traditional lobster claws.

We got a cake from here for our wedding which was 4 days ago. It was amazing! Beautiful cake, incredible design, perfect service!!!!!! Do not think twice, get your wedding cake with these guys.

This little neighborhood cafe is everything you want in a New York City bakery. Decor that vibes, chalk board menu boards, and delicious hand crafted coffees. Their pastries look good enough to be in a Paris restaurant. There also got great outdoor seating and a friendly staff! Hand sanitizer is available throughout the shop.
