There's some serious training that goes on at this studio, but above all, our kids learn some discipline, respect, and how use self-defense skills in positive ways. My son has been going through training since he was 5 years old and it has helped him in many many ways!
Galaxy Martial Arts is an amazing Taekwondo studio. The instructors work hard to ensure that their students of all ages are learning and improving with every practice they attend. They even practice the basics of other martial arts too like jiu-jitsu hapkido and judo! GMA also makes sure that younger students learn the values of respect and honesty
My son and daughter have been practicing Tae Kwon Do at ATC for nearly 5 years. They began as Little Lions and they are now Black Belts. They have literally grown up here, receiving guidance, support, and new skills along the way. We could not be more happy and appreciative of Master Safa's efforts. He has created a family-like environment with a team of fantastic instructors who encourage each student to be their very best. All students are encouraged to be respectful, humble, and strong - incredibly important characteristics.
We give Galaxy Martial Arts a five-star rating. Our son has been at GMA for almost 2 years and it has been a wonderful experience. The school teaches traditional Taekwondo but incorporates different styles into their classes including Judo, and Hapkido, to help their students become more well-rounded opponents. Master Safa and his team of instructors are very engaging, expecting students to work hard, do their best and set challenges realistic to their student’s ability. Their knowledge, patience and passion for martial arts are obvious in their teaching. Having had our son in many sports, what I have observed is that ATC strike a great balance between the development of martial arts skill, strength, stamina and flexibility, as well as the development of respect, honor and discipline which are so important in life. The studio also does a great job of incorporating fun and other activities to bring the families in as a community. We highly recommend GMA to anyone!
I've been at GMA since 2012 and it has changed my life for the better. I've been looking for a school that taught the true value of martial arts and not watered down like the other 80% martial schools around. GMA teaches traditional martial arts so other than self defense i've learned about the culture, honor, discipline, respect, and loyalty. These are principles and skills kids need to have to be successful in life. Master Safa is an incredible teacher along with top notch instructors. They are professional, patient with students, and don't force students to test. Students test when they are ready and when the instructors are confident students are ready for belt testing. Also the prices are very reasonable. I'm so happy and thankful I found GMA and highly, highly, highly recommend this martial arts school!!!!!
My kids has been there for more than 2 years and I'm so grateful the way Master Safa and his team teach the kids: In every class they remember their: loyalty to your country, friends, school, respect for your parents, brothers and sisters, elders and teachers. Courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control and indomitable spirit are guidelines principles from ATC. It makes me feel good to know that taekwondo has helped my kids in so many other parts of life, including self defense. I highly recommend it this Academy! Thanks Master Safa and his team
The kids love coming to class and learning how to kick, punch, and defend themselves. As parents, we appreciate the respect and discipline that is being instilled in our daughters. The facility is clean and organized, but parking and lobby are very crowded as they share a building with 2 other organizations.
We highly recommend Galaxy Martial Arts! Best place for children to learn self - defense through martial arts. Master Safa and his instructors are dedicated and committed in teaching students all aspects of taekwondo and other forms of martial arts.
We have been with ATC since early 2010. Master Safa and his team of instructors are very dedicated, caring, professional, kids friendly, and extremely knowledgeable with Taekwondo and other martial art styles. Their Little Lions program is an excellent program for kids up to 6 years old. After 6 years old they can move up to the junior program. We started our 1st daughter when she was 3 years and 4 months old. She is now a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo for a year. My younger daughter also just started for almost 2 years now. This is a great place for children to learn about discipline, respect, focus, Taekwondo, and strength training. We would highly recommend it.
The best taekwondo school in Aliso Viejo. I can't thank Master Safa enough for the patience, caring & more importantly teaching my boys a whole lot of discipline, confidence, focus, respect and hard work in an effective way. I highly recommend ATC family martial arts center.
