As a mainly-masc genderqueer, I was a little worried going in but I wanted to get back into running without using a binder. The staff especially Kristil were amazing start-to-finish. I felt very comfortable being myself and only heard myself referred to with gender neutral language not called lady once. Even the changing space was welcoming. We are able to get the perfect running gear for me.
Not very impressed neither by the merchandise nor the sale items which were still rather expensive. They try to compete with Lululemon but not up to par.
I had a best shopping experience in this place. Jennifer from the Maine , helped me out very comfortably & all of stuffs are very pleasant. I have been shopping since Athleta open & shop many different locations/ states before . Best experience & recommend for all fit moms & over 40
I just shopped the Athleta store in Reston for the first time and had an incredible experience with Lauren... Is a/ the manager. She is smart, kind, helpful and genuine. One of the hallmarks of a great retail sales professional is connecting with the customer at their place and having an opinion... Lauren did all of those things. Honestly as a 30+ year retail executive it was a refreshing experience in a very difficult time in our industry. I don't remember the last time I had a service experience that stood out like this. @Gap you should recognize her and hold onto her. You can't train someone to enjoy what they do and care about their customers!!
The red haired girl is very unpleasant to talk to. She didn’t take time to listen to the customer and had very bad attitude when I asked questions. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. Go elsewhere to spend your money!
I recently visited this store. This was my first time visiting this location and after reading some reviews online I was a little hesitant about what I would walk into. What brought me to the store was a fitness class they were having. I was interested in trying out burn boot camp, and it was a great class! Very challenging but rewarding. When I walked into the store I was greeted by an Athleta employee. I also had a pair of tights that were on hold and after the class an employee retrieve them and set me up in the dressing room to try them on. The whole experience of the store was really good. Everyone was friendly and helpful. If it wasn't for the distance I would visit the store a lot more often. After the fitness event, all participants had access to a 20% off coupon and an opportunity to win prizes in a raffle. It was such a fun experience. I will definitely return for another Fitness event.
If you ever want to take students on a customer service field trip, stop by here and see how it's done! Cici, Linda, and Lauren rocked the house! Everyone was super friendly and quick to help during the semi-annual sale. They were very good at making recommendations based on my needs and would help find other sizes and things, even so close to closing time I never felt rushed or anything. Everything I wanted to look at online was in stock in the colors and sizes I was interested in, plus very easy to find. Very organized and clean store. A little pricy but great for good quality gear!
The staff was so helpful and attentive, always offering to get different sizes while in the dressing room. Store was very clean and following the COVID rules closely. Will definitely be back!!
It has been a while since I visited this store. There is not much of a selection and limited sizes compared to other locations. Kind of disappointing.
Great place to work. Shifts are very flexible to your schedule. The people are very nice to work with and the manager is AMAZING. Also, you get paid very well for a sales associate. Highly recommend people to work here.
