This place has such a nice atmosphere. It's not what I expected. The people who work here are amazing. My drunk was the best. The fried green tomato was way better than I thought it would be. My friends liked their poboys and fries. My shrimp and grits were good. I suggest making the grits less thick and add more sauce and it would have been perfect. I will definitely dine here again.
Good food! Lots of options and cool atmosphere. The interior dining where we were was pretty echoey so it got loud when there were 2 large groups with kids. They have outdoor seating but so dogs allowed on the patio. Service was good and very kind and helpful.Food: 4/5
I went back a second time because of my first experience. The food was delicious both times. No problem there. The peanut butter crumble pudding dessert was incredible. Hats off to the chief. The first time I came in with a group of 30. We waited no more then 15 minutes. My second experience was just okay. The food was delicious, but the waitress took away the food twice before we finished. I was taking food off the plate as she was removing it, but that didn't prompt her to ask if I was finished. She continued to remove our appetizer and another dish before asking if we were done. She was on a mission and it wasn't to ensure customer satisfaction. I left a tip but informed her of where she went wrong. I hope she slows down.
Excellent dining experience in downtown Smyrna Georgia. From walking in the door and being greeted to being seated and having our first drink order taken was only about four minutes. There are two sides to this restaurant the bar side which is a little livelier and a little louder and the seated dinner side which is a little more cozy and quiet. You cannot go wrong choosing either side! The service is always better than expected and the food continues to be consistent and exceptional. Rusty and his leadership team have done an extraordinary job building a fine restaurant. The Creole inspired menu will not disappoint. You must try the wings cooked on a Big Green Egg and that casian style sauce. You will be glad you did. Where can you get a homemade Green Goddess dressing in 2023?!! Right here! I could go on… Highly recommended.
Waitress- Allena Hospitality- Variety- Food- Authenticity- Atmosphere/View/Location- Cost- Overall taste is processed. Tastes instant/microwaved, not much depth of flavor. Patio is pretty cool, perfect ventilation. Allena made our entire experience. Although the best selling food items lemon pepper chicken & salmon did not live up to the hype, I would come back for the hospitality. Black male manager brought out complimentary fried green tomatoes. Excellent presentation & explanation of what Atkins’ has been achieving in the cuisine competition space. However the cornmeal did not attach well to the vegetable. It simply sat on top, acting as a shallow shield. Feedback: Don’t be afraid to use more seasonings and cohesive ingredients. Focus on mastering a couple items on the menu, and do it WELL. As a Black woman, my flavor palette expects layers to flavor. Marketing yourself with creole dishes in a majority POC/Black city means a lot. Total bill is $37.
Quick little date night, quiet and cozy, just the way we like it. The corn dip was amazing, but the poboy fell apart, shrimp and grits lacked flavor, and the fried green tomatoes needed a little more fry‍Food: 3/5
Awesome experience. Our waitress and the manager were awesome. The food was awesome. The company was great, and the beer was cold. So glad I experienced this place on vacationFood: 5/5
Great service in great atmosphere! It was my first time at the restaurant and I received a complimentary appetizer. All dishes had a very nice presentation and were generously portioned. Very flavorful too. I'll definitely be back anytime I want to introduce someone to traditional but upscale Southern food.Food: 5/5
Turkey burger, shrimp and grits, our biscuits were burnt. The fried green tomatoes were delicious Food: 4/5
Great place to eat with an old vibe that had a lot of Louisiana inspired food.Food: 4/5
