The Augusta Public Library contains approximately 30,000 materials which consist of books, books on CD, DVD's, newspapers, magazines and for adults, young adults and children. Programs for young and old are available in the form of book discussions, summer reading events, and speakers.
The Augusta Public Library, a tax-supported institution, is a service-oriented facility striving to accommodate the informational, recreational, and educational needs of patrons in Augusta and surrounding areas. The Library shall actively encourage the use of its resources by patrons of all ages and backgrounds.
